I am almost finished designed my invitations. I designed everything myself on Photoshop, even though its taken awhile, I think its worth it in the end knowing I did it all myself and I love the pocketfold Invitations! Im still working on finding the perfect fonts though and the colors arent exact yet. I am going to have copies made at staples with my own metallic paper I bought and add rhinestones also. The Staples guy has been wonderful to work with and I have already printed out samples of my invites and they looked great! I am having a hard time though making a monogram for the belly band which Im still working on, is anyone good at making monograms? I want to make a square one, even though I have a circle cutter. Any advice would be great!!!
Update: Design is all done, and am waiting to get them printed! We are having our taste on May 29th so I cant send them out till then because I need to put the meal choices onto the response card. I am getting them printed at Staples, which I got a really good deal on! Very excited to see how the final product looks!
Pocketfolds are cheap at cardsandpockets.com. Once you figure out what style and size of pocketfold you want they also have the sizes for the inserts on there to use which makes it alot easier to make them on a program. You can also get paper there, I got mine at papersandmore.com . Depending on if you are going to print your invitations out yourself, or get them printed somewhere depends on the program to use really. I used photoshop because i thought I would take them to an actual printer to get printed and needed to use a different color setting, but found out it costs more then I wanted to spend. So now that Im getting them copied at Staples I dont really have to use photoshop. The man at staples is using the laser printer and he can have everyhing done in 24 hours for me, copying and cutting which is fantastic . I have been working with him my whole process to make sure everything will come out great and so far it has. If i were you, just search online for ideas, and look for some clipart or vector images preferably in the style that you like. I had made many different invites before I made this one, so just play around till you find your perfect invite. Its really a fun process, play around and print some stuff out and have fun with it! If you need any help, you can email me! good luck!
