NWR - Update on the pup - TOBEMRSF's Red Wedding by Color Blog

Well today is day 3 of the new diet and she is still having one or two vomit episodes a day. Mind you they are lessoning and not as much but still present. I am noticing that she only has an episode when we give her the meds and then feed her, so now Im thinking that maybe these meds are not the answer. I am exhausted from the worry. 90% of the time she is her happy self but that other 10% she is just off. And when she does vomit she will just come sit next to me and want tme to comfort her. Her sad eyes make my heart beak when she is feeling this way. I just keep praying for her to heal and come full circle back to her old self. Thanks to you girls who have sent well wishes and prayer. I am grateful!

What a BEAUTIFUL dog ! I house sit for a couple that has 3 English Bull dogs ! They are so much fun but they are a lot of work. They also all throw up a lot ! Good luck and I hope your little pup feels better soon !

Awww thanks for the update! It sounds like she is getting better :)

She is a beauty! I hope she is feeling 100% soon. It is soooo scary when your pet is sick...they cant tell you how to make it better. I didn't realize when i brought my baby home that she was really sick (of course the breeder didn't tell us). She had kennel cough (which isn't fatal to most dogs...except of course my dog...pugs) she couldnt walk without going into a coughing fit and vomiting. so i held her and carried her everywhere. The meds the vet gave us was making her even worse. she wouldn't eat or drink so we took her to the vet almost every day for fluid injections. It was aweful, but she got through it! Im sure you will too! It sounds like things are looking up! :)

Awww your baby is beautiful. I know how you must feel my boy use to vomit, sometimes often. They never really found the problem but it appears to be somekind of allergy. He has pills if he needs them and had to be put on a special diet. He's ok now and only vomits when we feed him something else. Its kinda trial and error if he gets sick we don't feed him that particular thing again.

Belabride: Im so glad your pug made it threw I know someone who lost their dog to kennel cough. Thankfully you did not have to endure that.

futuremrssmith: im thinking this might me an allergy as well. id ont see how a dog can go from normal one day to having pancreatitis the next. I hope your baby finds a happy place that does not include the sickies.

Our babies can put us through hell sometimes but its worth all the wonderful things they bring to our lives, or atleast I think so!
