Bridal Shower
My bridemaids and family threw my bridal shower for me last weekend. It was absolutely beautiful!! The decorations were more chocolate with accent of purple. I can finally see all this stuff coming together.

Wedding Dress
My dress was lopsided!!
Today was not a good day for me. I went for my first fitting. For starters, if I was going to wear the heels that I really wanted to wear, the dress would have been too short. I'm only 5'4" tall. To make matters worse, the right side is shorter than the left side of the dress.
They said they were going to call the DM to see if they had the dress in stock in the warehouse. Otherwise I am out of luck!! WOW!! I have to pay for a lopsided dress. |

Do I have to track down the non-responders?
After receiving one of my RSVPs last night, I was talking to my mother and she was suggesting that after the deadline has passed, that I should contact those who have not responded. I'm not sure that I really want to do that. Am I wrong? My thought is that if you don't RSVP, you don't have a seat.

PLEASE HELP!! I have 41 days to go and no jewelry!!
In my head, I can picture the kind of jewelry I would like to have. My dress has crystals beading on it. I was trying to do the pearl / crystal / rhinestone thing. Does any one know any good sorces to buy my jewelry? Any suggestions you give will certainly be appreciated!! Because I am about to cry!!

Is it inappropriate to put where you are registered in your wedding invitation?
While putting my invitations together, my mom told me that it is inappropriate to put where you are registered in the invitations. I was confused because everytime I've gotten an invitation, there was always bridal registry cards and / or information. I looked on the internet and found her statement to be good etiquette to not put them in there. So I left them out.
It is my understanding that the registry cards and / or information should go into the bridal shower invitations. My bridesmaids, who are putting on the shower did not mention nor put the cards in the invitations. Oh well........what is a girl to do?? |
