Just Getting Started
First off thanks for visiting my page and I'm sorry there isn't more. I hope to have more for you in the next coming weeks. Were doing things a little backwards. We have been together for three years and engaged for one of them. We have two beautiful babies Ava who is one and Angel who is just a month, so we figured it was time to get our butts in gear and finally start planning but when you're at home with two little ones all day there isnt a lot of spare time for planning so naps are like a saving grace for me. I know they say when they sleep you sleep, but for me its more like when they sleep I plan. So once again thanks for visiting and I hope to have more for you in due time.

The DJ
Well I finally got my butt in gear and booked a DJ. I had a hard time finding someone who could fit both of our wants and Skyline Audio Productions came to our rescue. With both of us being former military cursing is not something that offends us easily, and with him and his family being from LA and me and my family being from Des Moines (thats in Iowa for those of you who don't know) the music selections are kind of important to us. We couldn't find a DJ that did not have the "radio" version of music. So if I may, a little advice...... when looking for a DJ dig deep. Look in not so obvious places, I used the yellow pages. I have lived in Des Moines since I was born (with the exception of my military service) and I had no idea we had a recroding studio. I know this next part is going to sound strange, but with them charging by the hour and a set up fee it is actually cheaper than a DJ "specializing" in weddings that charges a certain amount for a number of restricted hours. Plus recording studios have access to almost any song in any type of genre. So my advice......Dig Deep!
