Bottom is 8", then 6", 5", 4". Satin white ribbon around them. I have a total of 10 of these. I'll sell them $10each or $89 for all 10 of them. Purchasing just the paper mache boxes for these costs $10, not including ribbons, paint, etc. What a deal! :) SOLD Pic 2 & 3 - Painted favor bag holders. My Wedding Day
I'm now a Mrs. !
Okay so not everything went as planned. My best friend who was also a groomsman was unable to make it to the wedding. he works offshore and his very important position held him where he was at. I was pretty sad for that but the show must go on right? My sister's wonderful boyfriend was our stand in groomsman and he was the best dang stand in a girl could ask for ;) My cake was amazing, my dress was beautiful, all the decorations were perfect and the food and beverage director was just the best thing since sliced bread. My photographers were awesome... The DJ was spot on. My officiant did a superior job. I really couldn't have asked for a greater group of vendors and I seriously don't think the day could have been better. My photographer has already put up some sneak peeks on her blog.

Proxy Bride MUST SEE!
OK! So traditionally at the wedding rehearsal the bride is NOT supposed to walk down the aisle. It is bad luck! Your maid of honor is supposed to be your proxy and the bouquet she uses to carry down the aisle is supposed to be made of the bows from the gifts you received at your bridal shower. WELL! Since I didn't get any gifts with bows on them..... My sister (MOH) took the cootie catcher idea and RAN WITH IT!! All of my gifts came in gift bags so she made this INCREDIBLE cootie catcher bouquet. I just HAD to share it with you all because I think its just the best thing since sliced bread lol The handle to the bouquet is pipe cleaners and the handles to the bags hang down for decoration :-D
I can't believe I"m actually getting married tomorrow... Its kind of surreal |

Time to get it done!
5 days left...
It is now 1am here and I've got 5 days left till wedded bliss. I'm finding I can't work in much time to actually post on WBC because I'm allocating my time to cootie catchers and everything else tedious in the world I could come up with to do for this wedding lol I've got a bunch of pictures to show everyone. Pics of my favor bag holders, cootie catchers, programs and all of my tons of tiffany boxes :) I just need to make time to get them on here!
OMG 5 days left. Where did the last 2 years go? My aunt keeps asking me "What are you going to do with yourself when this is all done?" All I can think is anything that has nothing to do with ribbon!! Today I went into Michael's and with my receipt printed a coupon and the clerk told me "And here is a coupon for you. It starts April 18." I thought to myself I'm not walking in another craft store for a looooooooong time after this wedding :) DIY has definitely been friendly on my pocket book but let me be completely honest... if pocket books weren't important in my life....... I would have paid a lot of people to do this stuff for me and I'd have been married a year ago!!! haha :) |

Wedding Flowers
Our Bouquets!
I'm excited for having all our bouquets done. The only thing that needs to be done now is the toss bouquet and those just need to be assembled. I already have my bouquet charms made for them. I want to do the bouquet toss where I throw a few bouquets that break apart. Each one will have a little fortune on them.
I'm very happy with how the bouquets turned out and I'm super fortunate that my best friend's mom is so crafty with these things because she assembled them for me |
