My shoes.....
I am super excited!! I got my shoes this weekend!
I was actually wanting to get pink shoes but I saw these and thought they were perfect! I figure, if I find pink ones that I love I can still wear these to a shower, bachelorette, Jack N Jill, rehearsal dinner....so many options :-) |

I have purchased my vases!
So I am very excited!! I have decided on my centrepieces and I have puchased my vases!!
I was thinking of doing the branches like in my previos posts but then a friend of mine pointed out these pink vases at Ikea and I had to have them! I am very excited and I am sure they will look great! The flowers in the picture are the arrangement I am going to have replicated although mine will have a few of the smaller Gerbera daisies. |

My dress is here!! - NEW PICTURES
Well here it is and I am sooo excited!! Of course I don't have the crinoline yet so it is not as full bottomed as it will be. And of course it still needs to be hemmed as well.
It seems so much more real when it is actually YOUR dress you have on :-) ***** Here are some newer/better photos of my dress. I LOVE it so much and can't wait for our special day to wear it! |

Shoes
I love these shoes!!!
I have a bit of a "shoe problem" so I know all the girls are going to be wondering what my shoes are going to look like so it is imperative that I have fabulous shoes! I am just a little worried as we will not have any other fuschia in the wedding at all. Do you think this will be o.k or should I incorporate some more somewhere? |

Bridesmaids
New Dresses
I have decided on a different dress for my girls. The original dress (which I loved) does not come in a small enough size for my neice so we found this dress instead which comes in sizes for Junior Bridesmaids. It is close to the same although we do have to change our pink to a slightly lighter shade.
The bonus is that it is cheaper too! Very happy with the change and the girls like it too :-) |

New idea for centrepieces
So I have a new idea in case my "Branches" are too difficult to find.
I was thinking these might be nice. Of course my flowers would be the light pink shown in the second photo but I love the look of the black vase with the pink flowers. I think I would only do one thought with some votives. What do you think? |

Centrepieces
So...... I have this vision for my centrepieces and I can't find the right type of branch anywhere. My fiance is having a very hard time visualizing my vision and hates the idea of having "sticks" as any part of our wedding. So, I am trying to do a mock piece to show him. If anyone knows where I can find these PLEASE let me know. I am thinking I may actually have to gather the girls and go looking in the forest at this point :-(

Our Reception
We have booked our reception at Bobby C's in Bowmanville.
It is a family run restaurant on the Marina and the food is fabulous and the service is great. Not to mention how great the Wedding coordinator is! There are also 24 rooms right on site as well for our guests so those who want to stay don't have to worry about driving or taxi's at all. It is going to be great and lovely in June!! |

Our Ceremony Location
I went and booked our Ceremony location this past weekend and I am soooo excited! We have decided to get married at Parkwood Estate.
It is stunning and I am so happy that I am going to have the garden wedding I was hoping for! The Estate grounds are unbelievable so the pictures will be wonderful! |

The dresses we like....
So these are the dresses I like. My Maid of Honor has tried it on and loves it. The color would be "Cotton Candy" though.
The fabric is nice and soft and I think they will beautiful for an outdoor Summer wedding. |
