I am infatuated with any kind of decor. Because of this, Hobby Lobby and Garden Ridge have becomes my best friends.
I am the chair person for the committee that is planning a birthday party for my first lady. We are on a very limited budget, but I still wanted to be able to create some nice, original centerpieces...so I dragged my FI to Garden Ridge where I came across the beauties to the left. In the Christmas ornament section, they had little chandaliers (in many different colors). They were only $5.99 each. Now if you are a bargain hunter like me, you can wait until either right before Christmas (when they go half off) or right after Christmas.
Now you ask, what can I do with these. A while ago, Treasurechest46 (sp?) posted a DIY centerpiece in which she hung jewels in the middle of her vase. Is the light bulb going off yet? You can take her design and make it your own. I am including Treasurechests' pics and also pics I took at Garden Ridge. Hopefully, it will help someone get some inspiration. What do you think?
