Button Bouquet Complete!!
Well after some trial and error, I have completed my bouquet. It is heavier than I thought it would be and I think I will add a little bit more to fill it out but I am very happy with it.

I wrote our names and the wedding date on the back side, these are our wedding favours. We haven't told anyone besides immediate family so they will find out at the wedding. Should be fun! Let me know what you think! |

BM wedding bling and diy cufflets
After much online searching, I have found the earings and necklaces for my lovely bridesmaids. I had found some beautiful pieces of costume jewelry that really went with the theme but hesitated on buying them because they would never be worn again, which isn't much of a gift when you think about it. So, I am going to go the pretty but practical route.
I am also working on cufflets for them, see picture 2. I am pretty excited about both! Will likely change the ribbon colour to black...the other thing instead of this style, has been using lace (3 colours and styles) and having an antique brooch on top of it...I am not sure which I like better, I will post photos of both once I finalize them and see what you all think!! Thanks! |

Vista Print Invites - en route
With two hundred and thirty some days to go, our invites are ordered. My fiance and I are looking to have a baroque masquerade.
Once the invites are in, I will be burning and curling the edges of these invites to increase their old world feel. Linen paper already is helping with that look and their creamy colour as well. We are sending them in ivory envelopes and putting black wax seals on the back. I hope they turn out well!! Has anyone used Vista Print and how is their quality?? Thanks! |

Pomanders and masks
Hey!
So I am getting started on the diy front and pics one and two are my first attempt at a black and white pomanders. I think they turned out pretty well. I think I will make a few that are green, black and white (our wedding colours). FYI, I plan to cut the little strings that are sticking out! As well, I have been super busy making, painting and finally blinging up out 140 masks. The dinning room table is finally free and the smell of paint is out of the place. I knew that this would be a big task... painting them and sealing the paint with a shiny coating. But it was well worth it! I actually ende up sanding the down prior to painting to make them more even but anyway, it was so worth it. I still have 40 to add pearls and/or rhinestones to and then I will add some glitter to some of them, lace to others, handpainted flourishes, etc. I am trying to make each one unique. The masks areeither green, black or gold. Let me know what you think! Lots of love! |

And the dress is ordered!
After not much trials and tribulations, I ordered my wedding dress. I wanted to make sure that it was the one so I came back a month later with my mom, my mother in law (or soon to be), a couple aunts and their daughters (17, 6 and 4).
Oh and my grandma. Everyone seemed to like it, the little ones tried on a few flower girl dresses, they were so cute! Like it? |
