candy bar

We are doing a candy buffet for our party in 2 weeks. To purchase M&Ms in one color they are almost $10 a pound at our local party stores. Where did you purchase your M&Ms? They don't have to be M&M brand, but I dont want to pay $150 for chocolate candies. Any suggestions??

Wedding Photography

We're Married!

Here's a peek at our destination wedding in the Black Hills. These are not professional photos but pics taken by our guests. We couldn't have asked for better weather, 75 & sunny. The parasol shot isn't the best angle, but our professional photographer got some great shots. I should have those back in a couple weeks. Another pic is the sand ceremony with the kids. Then it's the wedding party, small & sweet. Feels good to have the ceremony done & we can't wait to see what the photographer captured or how the video turns out because of the loud waterfall behind us.

Next up... Social & Dance on Oct. 2nd, Yay!

Wedding Dress

Red Shoes!

Finally found red shoes that I love! These came from David's, style is Maribelle in Apple Red. They were $50 & fit great. I'm so excited! I've been cleaning house in my new shoes for a week now trying to break them in before the wedding. FH just laughs at me. I was beginning to worry because we only have a lil over a month til the wedding & I still didn't have any shoes. Now I'm happy!

Invitation Ideas...

We want to DIY the invites. We only need an invite & envelope, no rsvp's, or anything like that. I keep looking at layouts (love the petal fold) but need to find a tutorial on how to make them. Pocket fold is too detailed for what we need. Does anyone have ideas?? We are open for anything...
