It's June AKA wedding season.. everyone is probably busy, like I should BE! Wedding in 10 days :-S

I completely agree! No one comments anymore! Its very discouraging! What other wedding forums have you found?

I agree with this post but I also agree with @soon2bmrsdames, because we have the same wedding date. WBC used to be exciting, but maybe everyone is just busy and not getting feedback which causes them not to post? Idk. But yes, wake up!

I have to disagree! I've seen some awesome posts these few days =) but I do agree with soon2bmrsdames-It's wedding season and a lot of our lovely WBC brides our off getting married or on their honeymoons!

I don't post much. I comment. But WAY too many posts are similar in content, and I just have nothing to say after 1 or 2 times. I wasn't here when it was fun though, plus the notification system here is all screwed up. I did get some ideas, and for that I am grateful.

It's coz I'm gone and married!! Lol, joking.... I know what you mean. But don't forget that the more YOU comment, the more comments YOU will recieve, and that applies to all of us.

In my time I have seen people post a lot of the same questions over and over, as yuandmi pointed out. I think people should try searching more often to find other posts related when they have a question.

Otherwise, it's just up to each and every one of us to GET EXCITED for other brides... make an effort to comment on their post about their venue (which the photo might not look appealing to us, but make a comment anyway... THEY are excited about it!!) etc etc. You know how it makes our day when someone comments on our posts. ;)

It's true that there are less comments and posts, and it can get very discouraging. Like yuandmi my WBC notifications hasn't been working properly for months - even now. Maybe the same is happening to other WBC brides? So the only way I can catch up on posts is if I come on here, which seems to be less and less as the wedding gets closer. But I agree we can still make WBC fun! :-)

i agree wit the the less coments part... but i found out that for me its really because of the notifications... before i used to get them and see who commented and such and follow the trheat but now u have to go hunting for posts that u commented to see but i still do comment on brides profiles new and old.... lets do make it fun like before yay!!!

I totally agree! I first joined WBC over a year ago and it was always full of energy and people would comment all of the time...but now it's as if no ones here! I find myself thinking 'why bother even posting, no one is going to respond anyway!' I miss the good ol' days! :( Let's get it back to where it was, girls!

I totally you ladies. When I first joined WBC last October I was an like an addict who couldn't get enough of this blog. Since then...I have not been on as much. I try to always comment whether it is something i have seen previously or not. Sadly, I wasn't getting the same response. I had put up my engagement pics that I was so eager to share and only got 2 responses...can you say VERY DISSAPOINTING! Most of the time I will put up a post and if no feedback is given I will take it off. I love to see and comment on other brides post..but when the same thing is not done to you....it's somewhat irritating.

I agree- I joined last summer and I had comments on everything.
I agree with the other girls too, it's wedding season. However, even though there are simular posts I still like to try to comment on everything because the other post might be slightly different or has a different situation.

I hear ya, I have mostly been on wedding bee lately because you get so many responses, I was literally writing on almost every post and some of mine didnt even get one comment, it feels like a waste of time sometimes, I do miss the old days for sure

I agree with the notifications being all screwed up! I got a notification today that someone had commented on my post, and when I looked, it was a commet from LAST WEEK! Got my hopes up for nothing! Lol!

I'm on the fence with this post.....

I sort of agree but when I first got into wedding planning and WBC I had ideas flying out the wah-zoo so I posted a bazillion times, much more than I do now. I also learned the power of Google, so anything I want to know I can research myself. I think it just comes and goes in strides and many brides have married *yaaay Hannah*, are about to marry, or their wedding isn't till late 2012 so they're just starting to plan.

I also think that there are a lot of "fake" brides out there. One dumb bride thought that because another was posting on a "similar issue" as she recently had, that she was copying her...... BE------SERIOUS! We're all friggin' brides which means we'll all post on favors, and bling, the big white dress, and invitations. Those people are just puuuuure drama!!!

ALSO, this was a kicker..... I responded to a post last week and I wasn't rude. In fact hashbrown can back me up on this because I was soooooo HONEST, and that BIOTCH couldnt handle it and so she deleted my comment.....lame! HAHA oh well..... she posted on here so I just haddddd to put that out there. :::::shaking finger:::::: tsk tsk tsk I know what you diiiiiid....

I also agree with Laurie - I <3 the recent posts. I think they're new and fresh ideas and I love them. I think if you're bored or a site doesn't interest you then you should leave, no harm no foul.

I think that this happened between certain individual's and no one else should have their piece to say. That day, i posted an apology to the other brides along with sending txbride2012 a PM apologizing. I would like to see the end of these notifications as we have all said and just drop it. I'm done with this convo as it should have ended that same day but people LOVE to continue, and would love for everyone to be done with this convo NOW.
