This will be a formal adult only affair..so I will add that to the wording as well.

I really like #2: it's lighthearted, positive and sounds like fun! I think 1 is too formal and sort of has that "you weren't invited to the private ceremony" vibe which I'm sure isn't the case but it's just how it reads. And #3 is cute too but doesn't flow in the rhyme as well...

I like 2! It just stands out more.

Hmmm...I'm torn on this one. The first one was my pick, especially once you said the reception is going to be formal, but I do agree with Nidhal that it does read like "you weren't invited". Out of the other options, my next pick would be the second one.

I like 2 as well.

#1 is more formal but I would take out the words "in a private ceremony" .

#2 is cute and lighthearted. I also that that is says "WE slipped a ring... " as opposed to #3 "HE slipped....

I Love 2. Its really sweet.
