My FH Uncle does jewelry on the side.. I was given his book with settings in it and they had this exact set. IM THRILLED. I just want it NOWWWWWWWW

I feel silly going to bridal salons with no ring on lol
I get to order my ring at the end of November and it will take 4 to 7 days to get it.
As for the size of the center stone..
it is still up in the air. He has a 2ct that's UNDER our budget..so I figure push for a little more to HIT the budget lol..
I am also thinking of getting 2 wedding bands..one for the top and bottom. You would be stunned at how cheap we can get them without retail mark up

That ring is gorgeous! You are lucky to have a jeweler in the family. Get a fake one (realistic looking of course) for going to bridal salons! At least then you won't feel like a fraud. They won't know any different and maybe it'll make you feel less silly!

Girl I know how you feel!!! I want my ring too!!!! My grandmother gave me her ring kinda like a tradition to pass it down to the granddaughter - its beautiful marquis diamond with a yellow diamond in the center but I want my own, and we won't be able to get it until November - so I feel ya Girl!!!! Atleast you got the hook up!!! Right!!!

don't you love having friends in the jewelry industry?! the lady at kays recognized my fiance from leading a community service project she took part in, and gave us like 40% off. it's great to know someone! two carats!! WHOOAAH :) :) the ring looks awesome, can't wait to see some pictures of it on your finger!

I feel your pain! Mr. H, and I have been together for almost 9 years now, and have a 5-year-old DD, so it's beyond me, how I'm still waiting for my ring! We went browsing back in August, and I think I found 'the one', but it's a lot more expensive than I was thinking it would/could be, so he's still saving for it (or, so he says, lol). I want it now, though! AHHHH!

His Uncle lives in the south suburbs of Chicago where we do but he uses a place downtown Chicago. He pretty much only does it for family so I dont think I can help you much there fierygurl
