Unpredictably CRAZY!!
My latest WTF! Drama...
SERIOUSLY?!! That's all I can say. This will be lengthy and I am sorry.
I had BEYOND a long weekend. I spent DAYS prepping for my Daughters graduation party on Saturday. My dearest friends 2 daughters didn't want to leave so I had 6 kids in my house the whole weekend! Saturday was longggg and Sunday was the 4th. Another long ass day and night with 6 kids and a messy ass house. Monday my friend came here to get her girls and help me put together 220 wedding favors. This took us HOURS and HOURS..seriously. She was here till 8 pm. After she left I finally got to clean and then sat down to finish our invites to mail them out by today. -I first had to print 120 labels. -Then number the RSVP card to each invite to match our list (for those that you KNOW will forget to add their damn name to the RSVP card) - I then had to add a belly band to each pocket fold, then add the monogram sticker -Then stuff the envelope, lick it, add the return address label.. Painstaking is an understatement. By 3 am I was almost done. I got to invitation number 90 and for some reason felt the NEED to look at our RSVP post cards. WTFFFFFFFFFFFFF!!! OUR RETURN ZIP CODE IS WRONG!!!!!! Oh yes, you read it correctly. Their postcards. Already stamped postcards. I flipped a LID, broke down and started crying my eyes out. How the HELL could I have MISSED this? Chris proof read them for me (half ass apparently) and said "looks good!" THE ZIP CODE IS WRONG!!!!!!!! I called the post office this AM in a panic. They said if the city & state is correct (yes) that it will go to the other citys zip code first before making it to OUR correct zip code, then I will "eventually" get the RSVP card..remember this is a postcard.. thats not good enough! I need a head count! Want to know what I have to do now? -re print 120 address labels -rip open 102 invitations, remove 102 belly bands, white out the 3 and make it a 2 on the postcard, re add the belly band, re stuff and lick the envelope...you get the idea. OVER 100 FRECKIN TIMES!!! I am a wreck. It is sooo much work that I have to do and I just sit here unable to even start the LONG painful process of our stupid ass mistake! I had to rush out today and find 130 NEW envelopes (5x7) too because I dont have time to re order anything at all. I am a basket case. Its 12 midnight and I cant even THINK of attempting this. I am just to frazzled. How stupid can someone BE!!! |

Today me and the kids went to the mall. They had a set up for baby tigers. I about DIED!! For a donation we were able to sit in the cage with them and LOVE THEM!
Coolest and greatest experience EVER! When can anyone say they got to pet/hold a tiger?!! Their 6 week old sisters awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww!!! |

3 hours and 7 rolls of tape...
unpredictable invites..take one!
Last night, Kate and I started the process. The looooong, tedious, pain in the ass process of layering the invitations.
After 3 hours and 7 rolls of double sided tape, we finished 95. We need about 130 but I ran out of tape! I still have to go back and insert the RSVP card and add the invitation on to the red matting (UGH!!!) Thats another 3 or 4 hours Then we have to fold them and add the belly band and monogram (MORE TAPE!) Thats another 2 hours at least..I still need to finish the address labels too! I think double sided tape will be my enemy by the time this process is over. I am doing ALL of this while planning Kates Graduation party that is SATURDAY. I have like 50 people coming over, my house looks like shit and I need to have these invites done to be mailed in like 3 days.. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!! (starts crying) |

I was able to design a custom monogram for our photo booth strips. Pretty Cool!
I did our design and what I want the final concept to be. Again, Wedding Chicks monogram! This was actually the "Will you be my bridesmaid" design and I edited it. Chris and I booked with ShutterBox I cant wait! The photo booth is by far my favorite part of this reception! |

Unpredictable Formal
So I went for my first fitting today.
OMG wayyy to tight LOL! This is not a case where the bride should loose a few pounds to fit. I'd disappear if i did LOL!! Honestly, it is tight because I have a displaced hip and scoliosis. Whats happening is because my right hip shifts out more it is pulling the left side crooked and tight. We are going to solve this by letting out only 1 side of the dress. We kinda of have to do "special" alterations because of my issue. Its all good! I know Bella Sposa will rock it out of the park. Today we did the bustle. The train will never be down since this is reception only dress. We had to re work it a few times because the bustle was at different places on my ass and was just to poofy. I looked like one of the step sisters from Cinderella (see picture) Anyways, I am in love! The length is perfect. Obviously the dress still needs to be pressed but no point on that now. I go back at the end of July to try it on again. We had to put 2 cups on each side to fill in my boobs LMAO! I am a proud member of the itty bitty titty committee HA!!! |
