Since my fiance and I are currently finishing up college we are on an extreme tight budget. I'm talking about a $5,000 wedding. I have so many ideas and I truly believe we can make this work. My parents agreed that if my fiance and I pay for our wedding, they would put the down payment on our house! I'm considering ordering a lot of stuff online...any inexpensive ideas?

Having everything in one place is helpful because there is no transportation cost. So ceremony and reception at one venue. Off season will give you A LOT more negotiation power...I got my DJ for half the price. Same with off day...Fridays and Saturdays are more than any other day. You can get a student photographer from a university...they aren't established yet, but are really talented, so they tend to be cheaper. Those are just a few helpful hints...GOOD LUCK!

Also, places like Sam's Club online sell bulk flowers for REALLY CHEAP and they have great reviews from people that have ordered them so that may be a great route to go for your flowers because florists are so ridiculous! I got my wedding dress at lightinthebox.com. It was a knock off of a name brand designer for a tenth of the cost. I was afraid the quality would be comprimised but it was so beautiful and I only paid $200.00!

Try looking on ebay for the dresses. I found my dess and it is beautiful.

Craigslist!!! I bought chair covers, sashes, and table runners for a very good price. Just choose your city and type "wedding" in the search bar and you should find tons of stuff.
