Who is dying their Crinoline Slip? OR Who has already done this?

I was thinking of dying my crinoline slip light baby blue (My something blue) or a light pink. I was wondering who is and who has done this and how did it turn out......What colour did you choose? How did you go about dying it?

Thanks Ladies!!!!

I did mine pink (you can see it on my blog) not that long ago. Since I had a front load washer I did it in a huge rubbermaid tub ( filled it up with warm water from my bathtub with buckets) I used 3 boxes of Rit powder fuschia dye and got the crinoline wet in my bathtub. I put it in and stirred it with my broom handle for 30 minutes and then pulled it out and put in on rinse in my washer for 1 cycle and it came out perfect! It really is simple and its a cute way to add color to your wedding.

I dyed mine for my something blue.
I was going to do pale pink, but ended up with an electric blue :) Just for fun, lol. I used 3 boxes of rit royal blue dye for it.

i dyed mine apple green. LOVE it! i personally didn't dye it, i would have effed that up hardcore. but i found an amazing girl on etsy (who sadly moved out of the country & is not doing it anymore) who dyed it for me. she did an amazing job. if you go to my page, somewhere on there you'll find the pics of mine. i think it's totally worth it!

I dyed mine hot pink too.  It's on my blog.  It's been a while so I don't remember EXACTLY, but I soaked it in water in a rubbermaid tub beforehand, used 4 boxes of fuchsia rit dye and 1 cup of salt, and put it in the washer.  It was actually pretty easy.  I just followed the directions on the box.  Every so often I took it out and untangled it then once it got close to the end I started the cycle over so it could soak longer.  It turned out great.  Good luck!  It was actually MUCH easier than I expected.
