A new relationship w/ God
Ceremony
Finally! I have finally been allowed to book the chapel, we wanted! I have had to take sacrament classes, plus 2 retreats and will do an engagement retreat with my future hubby... plus not to mention the insane fees! But I got the church! yay!!! Only a year of marriage prep classes to go. lol
Also the very strict church does not allow flower girls to throw flowers! So... I was thinking of having them hold a banner that reads "Here Comes the Bride", any ideas where I can find one? |

Wedding Dress
Someday, somewhere, maybe
I think the only thing I have ever really seen at my wedding is the dress. I saw a dress once in a random magazine sometime, somewhere, who knows, but this is something similar to the one Ive always invisioned. I love the look of lace and I want pink somewhere. I love the sash around the waist. I have a ways to go before wearing something like this, but I hope in 14 months to be able to pull something similar off.

OLLU
I think any one who was a student at OLLU has always wanted to be married in that chapel... and I am no exception. Unfortunatley, I've never been one to dream the fairy tale wedding and since its a Catholic church and all, you must have all your sacraments complete, which I have not. My DF has and the church wont book our wedding until I do em... so here I am rushing around to find a church who will grant me my sacraments asap. I have found one and will hopefully receive them on Easter :)

The Proposal
Its ok to look...
After not much luck finding a nice guy, I subsrcibed to Match.com and guess what... it works ladies!!! Our first date was supposed to be simple, ice cream... in case he turned out to be a weirdo, I could make a quit get a way... instead we had dinner and I swear once the check came, I didnt want to leave him. We ended up ordering dessert after that and talked a while longer...
Our second date, I tried to build my ever famous barriers and when he asked what I wanted to do... I said you know what suprise me. Do something to wow me, pretend you have one shot, our third date depends on it. He picked me up and wore a pink shirt (I hate pink shirts on guys HATE IT! but for some reason he looked really nice in a pink shirt) and he took me to an art museum. I was totally impressed, I love art and he totally impressed me... 3 months later we are happily engaged! Yes, three months! Never has anything happened so fast for me, but it just feels so right. We picked my ring out together so it wasnt very romantic, I kinda wished for a the whole bended knew deal, but one night as he dropped me off at home, he hugged me and just asked, "will you marry me?" I swear never a more romantic moment in my life. |
