Black and white bouquets?
I'm loving the one with the brooches... And I'm thinking of having the bridesmaids carry a white clutch with a black ostrich-feather-and-white-calla-lilly corsage pinned on it instead of bouquets. Thoughts?

Wedding Budget
Where to begin??
Happy news - we're finally planning our wedding! 4 years after he proposed! This time, we're set on having a spring wedding. May of 2013. Our only stumbling block now is budget! We don't make a lot of money, and my meager savings is only in the double digits at the moment. We want to have about 80 guests, and want a modern wedding... Problem is, there are virtually NO respectable venues in our area. Face it, the Lehigh Valley SUCKS when it comes to planning an elegant affair within budget. So it looks like we might be heading southbound closer to Philly, or north to the Poconos. We want to keep the costs to around $60-$80 per person, including alcohol. Plus ceremony and reception fees, attire, flowers... ugh. Luckily we have our rings already. And a dream honeymoon to Europe? Might not happen. We'll see.
If we save $300 a month, each of us we will have roughly $14,400 in savings. But who wants to spend their entire savings on one day? That's just insane. Oh well. |
