I made my crystal tree today!
I love it!
I spent about 115 bucks or so. I got my tree from save on crafts online. I used wire cutters and trimmed down the branches. Then I spray painted it. I got my pot at dollar general and spray painted that. I used floral foam to hold the tree in the pot, then I filled it with plaster of paris to weigh it down so it won't tip and to secure the tree. Then today I got my crystals in from cristalier online, and they were so easy to twist off the rings to make multiple strands from one strand. Each strand was about 6 bucks... but I got about 5 strands out of each strand.. if that makes sense. The larger crystals at the bottom of some of the strands I got in a box at Michaels for just a few bucks! The iridescent stuff you see in the pot also came from save on crafts online.. again.. a few bucks. I also have those touch lights from the dollar store which will go in the "snow" to help light up those crystals. I tested it with a flash light and it's going to be awesome! I bought one of those cheap basic 8 dollar round tables at dollar general, and got my pink satin table cover for 6 dollars at another craft site online.. I will set this small table up with the crystal tree amongst the other round tables at the hall.. probably somewhere around our parents tables. I'm so proud of this!!

Please excuse my kitchen. I do not live in a castle.. just a normal humble house lol.

I am doing a large crystal tree in the center of my candy buffet table. I am going to subtly incorporate feathers into it also. I went to buy my tree on save-on-crafts.com and they were out of the size I needed. They were out of the candles I needed also. GRRRRRRRR!!!!!! But anyways, your tree turned out really nice. It looks so pretty!
