Mexico Destination Wedding
Any suggestions on wedding destinations in Mexico?

We plan to do a destination wedding somewhere in Mexico because it is a relatively short flight from Dallas. We want to be at an all-adult, all-inclusive resort. Preferably with a complimentary wedding package or reasonably priced. There will only be maybe 20 people, 40 max. He wants golf close by, and we both want safety. Anyone have any experiences to share?
I have a travel agent that is helping me but thought I might ask for some other opinions. Thanks!

I hear Secrets resorts are really nice. Kinda like Sandals. I have never been, just heard from travel agencies. They said the main difference is Secrets doesn't give you TOP Top shelf alcohol like Sandals. I think the secrets we looked at was in riviera maya. I have heard playa del carmen is a nice spot!!

Check this site out. It gives you a list of golf places in the Riviera Maya area. Your best bet is to stay in the Riviera Maya (Playa Del Carmen area) You can go shopping, dining out, dancing, and take the ferry to Cozumel.

Here is a list of adult's only all-inclusive resorts:

Secrets Maroma
El Dorado
Royal Playa Del Carmen
Azul Blue
Paradisus
Valentin Imperial

You may want to give your guests a cheaper hotel option. I know Iberostar Grand is an adults only resort and has their sister resorts on the same property.
