We are having a cocktail reception and we finalized the menu last weekend!
Starting at 5 pm, we will have:
*cheese and sausage platters
*veggies and dip
*large cocktail shrimp with sauce
*tomato bruschetta
*fruit
Starting at 6 or 6:30 (ending around 7:30 or 8), we are adding:
*chef carved turkey and ham
*bbq meatballs
*garlic lime chicken satay
*spinach and artichoke dip
At 9:30 or 10, we will have:
*assorted homemade pizzas!
There will also be pretzels at the bar all night and cupcakes for dessert.
Food will be served in 3 stations, hot, cold and chef carved.
I am very excited to do something different from what our friends and families do for wedding receptions.
I just wonder, should I have some menus scattered around that say what is being served and when? It was a thought that crossed my mind, and I am wonder what others have done that have had cocktail receptions.
