OMG! I am so excited about my trash the dress photos. For those of you that are a little apprehensive about it! You have to try it out and you don't really have to TRASH your dress completely if you don't want to get too dirty. Just find a cool location, brings some props, and find a cool photographer with a great eye! We took our pictures this weekend in the Orlando area and our photographer was AMAZING! This is a must for all of you brides and former brides. WE had a blast and our photographer HEATHER RICE was awesome!
I love yours! Awesome shoes/socks!
Well I definately didn't want to do the beach/pool idea for trash the dress because I don't do WET hair. So the photographer took me on location and instead she brought props and I did as well. Some were a top hat, empty picture frame, mickey mouse ears, etc. and told us to have fun. Couldn't post all of the pictures
We acted like ourselves on several of the pics. (that's how I ended up clicking my heels). My dress ended up really dirty...you can't really tell in the pictures. I layed in the grass, the train got wet in the pond in the park, and did normal everyday activities in the dress.
The whole concept of TTD is that you are going to be with your husband forever and you no longer need to treasure the symbolic "precious" dress. As many of the others have stated.....many past brides wear their dress once, put them away, and never see them again. This is a cool way to wear your dress again and get some trendy shots.
Good Luck to all of you that are going to do this. PLEASE post your pictures. I just love this concept and the brides look sooooo beautiful.
