Ask a Question
what else is there besides the flower girl or a jr. bridesmaid?

my daughters dress will be princess style like mine, this is my little princess wearing the dress, it will have a burnt orange bow laced through. the burnt orange bow will match the color of my bridesmaids dresses.

But! I have a question for anyone who is reading this!
i am going to ask my bothers (19, and 12) to be ushers and hand out the program fans. I have two borthers and one sister, I really don't want her fo feel left out! when my daughter tried on her flower girl dress my little sister ( age 9) looked sad, what can I do to make her apart of the wedding with out having to be a second flower girl? I don't want her to feel left out.
any suggestions??

**Update*****
My little sister and brothers will pass out our program fans

Are you tossing anything? Seeds? Confetti? Bubbles? You could get a basket and have her hand out that kind of stuff as guests arrive for the ceremony?! But don't add it just to give her "a job." This maybe harsh, I have two nieces close in age to my daughter and I am very close to both, but neither will be "in" the wedding or "doing" anything. This is the first wedding my daughter has been ina and being her mama, I wanted the focus of the flower girl to be on just her.

I think giving her a little basket with the bubbles is a great idea. She will feel very important and included in your big day. I understand what debbie is saying that don't just go and make up jobs to make everyone happy, although this isn't every other relative. It's your little sister and she is 9. I mean it's only natural for her to feel that way seeing as her brothers are both included and she is the only one being left out. I would certainly give her a job to do and maybe you could take her and your daughter out for a "girls day" or afternoon to get stuff for the wedding. This will make her feel like she is important too.

She could be the one after the flower girls toss the flowers to yell.....the bride is coming...the bride is coming.....I recently went to a wedding where the little girl did that right before the bride walked down the Isle and it was sooooo cute!
