The Venue

I feel soooo blessed right now! The last two weeks have been amazing and I can only thank the Lord for His goodness!!

I stumbled across a beautiful venue not too far from the church. A health centre with an attached hall fit for a banquet. The regularly do weddings and its soo big, set in beautiful surroundings that are great for photos, a lovely venue manager that's so helpful with planning, so much to shout about. Most importantly, the price in unbelievably low and the date was still free!! However, we found a a snag....

I am having catering being managed by a lovely lady that can prepare all the traditional food you'd expect from a Nigerian wedding. But the venue only accepts food from catering company which has the relevant food hygiene certification and public liability insurance. The lady has the certificates but no insurance as she is not a company (yet). Oh no I thought.

I used to work in events so I figured I could insure my wedding. After much research I found a company to provide insurance for the day and they also provide additional Employers insurance which covers up to 10 people that I hire for the day!!
