UPDATE 7.22.08-I have now decided to not have kids in our wedding due to it being a destination wedding & some problems w/ our families wanting all of their kids in it! We will still be using the rose though b/c I just LOVE it. I think his BM will be carrying it.

We were looking at bridal sets even though I had already been given a ring and Zales was having a very good sale. The first ring that I found was a 1/2 carat princess cut, but we went out of town for my Spring Break & the day that we got back & was planning on ordering it, it was sold out. Anthony picked this set out & when he went to order it a few days later, it said sold out... Somehow a couple more days later, it showed back up on the website so we ordered it right then.

I went to David's Bridal not long after I got engaged to try on wedding dresses & found a gorgeous dress. It was the 2nd dress I tried on & I fell in love with it. I am still going to go to other places to try on some more, but so far, this is the one!

Anthony had mentioned getting engaged before and saying that he was going to ask me soon, but I didn't believe him because we had only been dating for a couple of months. He said he was going to pop the question on Christmas Eve. One day while at the mall with my roommates, he went into some jewelry stores to look at rings. I didn't believe it but he actually bought one that day! We were in his bedroom talking and just hanging out after going back to the mall to pick it up from being sized and he got down on one knee and said he couldn't wait any longer to ask me... Then he ran downstairs and told his mom I said yes. Nobody could believe that we got engaged after just about 3 months, but everyone can tell that we are madly in love and nothing is going to come between that!

I met Anthony when I started working as a hostess at O'Charleys in August 2007. He's a cook there and was always trying to strike up conversation with me, but when I work, I work, so I never talked to him much.
One day I remember he asked me for help looking for mushrooms in the cooler. I was busy at the moment, but told him if he still needed help when I was done that I would go and help him look. I kept my word and asked if he still needed help so we headed back to the cooler. He didn't have me in there to look for mushrooms though.. He got me in there to talk to him and even tried for a kiss! I just laughed at him and told him that we hadn't even gone on a date yet so of course he wasn't getting a kiss then and I walked out... Later that night as I was leaving work, he was outside taking a smoke break. He walked me towards my car and asked when we could have our first date and I said I wasn't sure yet... I ended up giving him my number that night after much begging, which he used not long after he got off work. I was sitting at my apartment bored out of my mind until I got that phone call and he asked if I wanted to come over to watch a movie... I caved in even though it was getting late and headed over to his house. I felt kind of weird walking into his house because he lived with his mom, his brother, his bro's girlfriend, and his bro's 3 year old son... I knew the brother and his girlfriend from work, but I still felt strange. We watched Transformers that night and it was very late when it ended so I stayed the night at his house because I was WAYY too tired to drive home. Ever since that first night-October 5, 2007, we have become pretty much inseparable...
