Wedding Reception
entertainment at your wedding reception

Is anyone having any kind of entertainment at your wedding reception? I have heard of lots of people doing dancers or drum shows etc. I was just wondering if anyone here was doing any thing like that during the reception?

I have been having trouble finding a minister to marry us here in Waco so I went to this site and got a couple of bids from officiants who lived outside of my area and two of them were also commedians and have been on comedy central with their shows. Both are telling me they could marry us and give a short show for $350.00. I thought that was kinda cool. What do ya'll think? How much are ya'll spending on your minister / officiant? The other bids I got for just a wedding ceramony from a officiant was $425 - $475?

If that idea doesn't pan out, try making a slideshow of the 2 of you you from birth to the presence. You can add music & tell about the picture being shown. That's what I'm doing! Good luck!

We did decide against the comidian for the wedding. My mom says she feels like it will make a mokery of our wedding and my Fh says he didn't want it due to the fact that if the comidian said something offensive to some or even about us that he took offensive there might be trouble lol. Plus we have several small kids coming and I don't thik this will hold their attention. We had thought about doing a slide show but one we have no baby pictures of him only pictures since we have been together. His family is not even coming to the wedding and the people we have invited are the ones I have grown up with mostly other than the people from both our workplaces. I think its an awsome idea though. I would love to do it.
