Bridal Show

Never been to one, but can’t wait to attend. There are going to be two Big Bridal Shows taking place close to where I live and I just can’t wait. I did a quick Google search on what to expect when you attend a Bridal Show and I want to share a few tips with you; just in case you plan on attending.

Pre Register- Avoid long lines at the door and get cheaper tickets. For the bridal shows I will be attending the tickets are less if I order them online.

Bring someone- Unfortunately my MOH can’t attend because she lives too far away, but I plan on brining my mom and bridesmaid to one in Philadelphia and the future hubby to one closer to our home. By bringing someone along you can get a second opinion and bounce ideas off one another.

What to Bring- Make sure to bring a notepad, pen/pencil, tote bag, and camera. You will see so much and receive a lot of information. Write what you love down or even better take a picture for inspiration.

What to wear- You could be walking for hours so wear comfortable shoes and attire. Some shows even have wedding gowns available for purchase, so wear proper undergarments if you plan on shopping for a dress.

If I missed any great tips please leave a comment below? I’m so excited I just can’t hide it!!

I love going to bridal shows. The first one I went to I went by myself as my MOH had an unexpected emergency and it was kinda overwhelming. The second one I went went to I went with a good friend of mine and we had a ball. A few tips I would add are
1. make sure you leave lots of time. MAke sure you don't have any other appointments that day so you can stay as long as you would like.
2. Don't eat a big meal before going but make sure you eat something. They had so much food at the one I went to it was crazy but since I was looking for a caterer and a baker I wanted to try everything lol
3. Get pamplets even if you think you may not be intrested in what they are offering. I took so many pamplets home and my fiance and I were looking through some of them and we thought of ideas that we didn't think we would need those vendors for and ended up we did need them after all.
4. Take lots of pictures... After all most brides only experience planning their wedding once :)
Hope you had lots of fun!
