This is wakelin2bee's Green Wedding!

I have seen 8 venues in the last like 12 hours.... now I am so conflicted..
I love the pricing of the one(Fantasy Farm.. I know such a silly name) but its more of a "fun" atmosphere... It looks nice but its more of a medival theme place(but will literally spend 10,000 less than the other places I like.
I like Hockley Valley in Orangeville, its more of a classy place, its a resort and the ceremony space is beautiful, the reception hall not so much. Its got a "wall" between the two rooms to seperate them, which makes the noice travel easier...
How did everyone pick their wedding hall, more on a price(more bang for your buck), or what you think people will think?
I think people might be skeptical because of the name of fantasy farm(i really wish they would change it... lol)!
Oy vay.. they both book up really really fast atleast1 year 8 months advance!

We've known each other since we were kids...and started dating in highschool...so wehave some pretty old picture!!

I dont know what I want to do...
My dad left when I was like 6 and I love my mom but we aren't like really close. I have no other siblings, my mom and I live(before CHris and I moved) with my mom's best friend and her family(husband and 2 kids). Her husband is cool and since we've lived together for longer that I've known my dad.
Chris's dad treats me like his daugter too.
My moms dad is one of my closest relatives.
I don't know if I should get my mom to walk me, or one of the others mentioned... How do you all choose who walked you down the aisle?
I could just walk my self, I guess.. anyone doing that?
How I wish this wasn't so complicated...

I bought this(pic to left) corset for under my wedding dress... u know for liftage and such.. its has a lace up back.(so they BM's can pull tight!) and comes with the garter and thong. WIth shipping it came to 31.00... Cheap cheap!

Totally bought our wedding cake topper.. its so chris and I... He actually choose it. He always calls me his ball and chain 4 fun and so do his family(his dad calls his mum his "ball and chain"

and the girl looks like me and the guy him(my hair is back to its all natural color of blonde.. oh how i love dye)

When are you planning on sending out your STD's? Im planning on getting Married May 15 2010(same year as you)... I want to order STD but I dont know when to send them.. when are you sending??

HELP!

So right now I have 5 bridesmaids. My 3 oldest friends, the four of us have been friends for over 12 years, so its only right for them to be in my wedding party. Then I have my other half, who I met in highschool. Her and I are so alike and she completely gets me. And lastly I have the girl I grew up with (our mums are best friends). My fiancee has the same number of groomsmen(including his best man).

In the last two years I have made three amazing friends, who all live in the same town as me and we have grown so close. Our wedding isnt for two years and I really love these girls and they have become so important in our/my life(we all lived together for a year with Chris!!) I would really like to have them as my bridesmaids too but that makes 8 bridesmaids and chris only has 5....... I dont know what to do!!!
Is there other important positions that I can make them? Or should I just make them bridesmaids and have Chris add 3 more friends...
Ahhhhh... how I hate making decisions!

I Can't decide if I should jsut do white and my olive green, or chocolate,green and white... Have the brown like the accent colour?

We are looking to do an outdoor wedding and then an indoor reception. I would really like a place that allows us to bring in our own alchohol(the only place i know of right now is Fantasy Farm in toronto).
We have looked at Fantasy Farm, Caledon Inn, The country Club...
Any other suggestions??

I liked this idea for a seating chart, but with a green back ground.. I was thinking about naming the tables after special events that happened in our lives and then at the tables have the reason why the tables were named that..
Ex.
Jim Archdieken(as a table name)
then on the table tell the guests the reason for the tables name (chris and i met at jim archdieken receration centre when we were kids and played sports together in the gym)

I love the green ribbons around the cake.. so pretty.

These are my bridesmaid dresses and colours.. I love love them!

I really love that green ribbon colour. I really want to do a kind of fairy tale invitation like a "once upon a time" ect ect.. make it a bit different than other invitations.

These are all kinds of ideas for the centre pieces. I really love the fruits and limes in the centre pieces. It ties in very well since my colours are green.
Any other suggestions are welcome too!!

We've been together for almost 5 years. We were highschool sweethearts. Im finishing up school in Peterborough and Chris (being the lovely fiancee that he is, moved to Peterborough with me).
He asked me to marry him on Dec 25 2007. He gave me a ring box with a note in it that said how much he loved me and wrote, Will you marry me?
Of course I said yes and then we went and bought the ring!

We're thinking about adding my grandmothers ring that is whitegold and a single diamond. I was thinkiing of soldering it so that the single diamond sits beside the centre of the 3 stone ring... opinions?
