If you can't decide, then have someone in you family be MOH so that there won't be any hard feelings.. thats what my fiance did with his groomsmen.

Pick the person who has always been there and will be there afterwards too! I have lots of close friends, even a oneI have known since the age of 2 "my cousin." But I went with my brother's wife. She has always been there, through all of my failures and triumphs, relationships and life, she knows more about me than my own family! She has been by my side through my whole relationship with Jesse, so it was the only thing that seemed perfect!!! And a kick ass Best Girl she was...tear!!

-AND We don't like the words MAID/MATRON of Honor (sounds like she should be cleaning my house) and if the groom can have a best man, well then damn it, I had a Best Girl!! :)

who says that you have to choose? If these are all your best friends then there should not be one more special then the other and they will all want to pitch in and do the most for your special day! tell them that you want them all to be their with you and that each and every one of them are your Maid of Honors! Have them stand next to you at the alter in height sequence, or dress style... :) or hair color!

Pick a person that is very reliable and will be there for you and help you with the wedding. I also have known people that have had 2 MOH's.
I picked my best friend since 7th grade to be my MOH.

My choice was easy she introduced me to my future husband.  That trumps even my (2) daughters.

do you have a sister or close family memeber? that is always a good way to go, most likely they will always be there and your relationship with them is not likely to change over time.... I say if you don't do that go with your heart!
