Changing Your Name - Are you?

I always tease my FH and say i won't change my name when we get married and he gets so mad and says that he won't marry me. Hehe. Of course I'll change my name, I just like to give him a hard time. It's strange though you have been one name your whole life and then with the wave of a magic wand for the rest of your adult life you are someone else.

How many of you will or won't be changing you name?

I can't wait to change mine haha! It's sad because I'm the last Pamplin but at the same time I'm so excited to be Mrs Wagner and to be able to write Mr and Mrs Wagner haha! And then having baby Wagner in October!

haha - I do the same thing to my FH!!!... he hates when I say that I won't take his name!  Like you, I will.  It is weird for me as well that I will be "someone else" all of a sudden.  I had a hard time thinking about this name change but I think I've finally accepted that I will still be me just adding to my name to indicate the love we have.

I also like to tease him that he should change his name to my last name instead....hahaha he REALLY doesn't like this! haha

I am changing my name. I'm super excited about it too! Brandon already calls me Mrs. Weikle or The Mrs. It's cute!

i cant wait either although im debating to keep my last name as my middle name since i dont have one... then again its kool to not have one either...

my fn is divorced and his ex kept the last name.. so i always tease him how i wont change it until she does.. lol... and he to gets soo mad so i dont talk about it anymore bc he gets really upset n mad...

lol now its more of i will be the offical mrs. H so to bad for her :P

I will change my name, but I am somewhat mourning it on the inside. It is afterall,  my name.

I'm changing my name, It is the only thing I'm kinda having weird feelings about though...it's just been that thing that's MINE and giving it up seems a little scary.
but at the same time it's exciting...ahhh but mostly scary! :)

Big topic in our relationship!
 I love love my last name. and his last name comes from his dad's family, which he's not all that close to them like his mom's fam. BUT he's the only boy with the last name, so our kids are going to take his name. weak..need less to say i'm not happy about it. I know thats bad.. but i'm a very honest girl LOL
I'll hifinate.

I am definitely changing my name.  His name is much shorter and easier to remember.  Not that mine is that hard but people can't seem to get it right.  Even though I'm the only child in my family I plan on using my last name as one of my kids middle name.
