Okay, so after the feedback from the topiaries I purchased, I decided to take them apart to see what I could do. Here is what I came up with.

Let me know what you think, they will be on black table cloths with damask runners.

The first picture is the orginals, the second is what we did with the bottom part of the topiary. We had to take some flowers from the top topiary to fill in the bottom a bit more (the middle works perfect for pomanders!!!) the third picture was the inspiration!

What should I put around the base? Voltive candles?

The stands are two of the candle holders (a purchased 50 from a bride, there are pics in the previous posts). My grandfather soldered the two bases together and right now the topiary is just sitting on top. I will find a way to attach it soon : )

Those really are fantastic. Really dramatic without being cheesy or over the top. Looking good! Because you also have runners, I don't know that you need anything else, but votive candles would certainly not hurt the look.

Ohhh, The Answer To Your Question is: Yes, some candles will really spark the bling off the crystals! Go for it....Love what you did!

K, I left this long comment on one of your post and now I see that you came up with a solution to your problem, they look great! The only thing that I would add, would be some type of black on the flower topiary... it just seems that there is too much white, putting some type of small black ribbon or black crystals in the topiary will flow better with the black and white damask. Good luck!

Those look AMAZING! My only suggestion would be tmaybe to cover the mid-section where the bottom of the top stand is -maybe a ring of matching flowers over it or crystals?

omg beautiful..everything....mabye you can spraypaint the base so it's not too white..maybe even black. it will bring out the flowers and it will bring out the crystals...i wouldn't put flowers in the middle becuase it would be too much.
