Sooo excited to show you guys the final wedding invitations!! I loooooooove them!!!
I made the Accomodations Card and Registery Card myself and just added them to the envelope. I got the invites made from the Blush&Ink etsy shop. Love her! Next is the stems of the bouquets I made. I found this "Rhinestone Ribbon" on Amazon for $3!! Its not actually rhinestones...its just made to look like it...and i love the look of it. I still need to clip the ends of the bouquets to be even..but besides that they are all done! I got our unity candle from an etsy shop (i love etsy!!) and i love how it turned out. she made the swirls to look similiar to the invitations. love it!! I had these picture frames made for my sisters. The night before the wedding im going to stay at the hotel with each of them and i wanted to give them a special something just from me. I picked out their favorite colors...and i love how they turned out!! The tears of joys and wedding favors are done. We are doing Lottery Tickets for the wedding favors. The lable says Lucky in Love. I think its cute! I'll put a penny in each of them also...so the guests can scratch easier. Question....i'm only making about 20 TOJ's...where do I put them for guests? Next to the programs? On the chairs of my family members? I ordered my wedding shoes!! My FH and I are the exact same height so I knew i wanted to get flats..and i LOVE hot pink and rhinestones...which is my whole wedding theme...so of course i had to get hot pink flats. I ordered them from khols...i havent received them yet...hopefully in the next couple of days! Let me know all your thoughts!! Thanks girls!!! |

Update!
Hey Girls!! Well i finally got all of my pictures uploaded on my computer of all of my progress. Ive been so busy lately that I haven't had time to do anything with all of my pictures! So here they are!
Activity books are printed and put together with ribbon. I got 20 of them printed and am putting them on a table as soon as you walk into the reception with 20 packs of crayons for the kids. The alter flowers were made by a lady on etsy...they are amazing!! I love them! I need to wrap the black bottom part in white tulle...then they will be done. They are each in a tall vase and will go on a pillar that will go on the stage at the church. Love! The next picture is of the boutoneers (SP?) I made for the grandmothers (left) and Groomsman (right). I think for the dads and groom they will get a white tulip with white ribbon. Not sure about granddads? ideas? I made the brochure for the OOT guests. Got them printed to put in the OOT baskets for the hotel rooms. Bridal shower stuff is next: I am going to make cake pops for the shower. I love making them!! This was my first attempt...so the one for the shower will be a little bit prettier! :) The next picture is what we are getting made for the favors! I think they look so cute. Then we have 2 of the 4 games we are playing. and the tie breakers. The BS invitation is next..i love it! The envelopes were all colorful and fun! Plus I got our address return stamp from etsy and I love it! so cute! Next are the bridesmaid and groomsman gifts with their gift bags. Simple but thoughtful! Last is the hanger that my wedding dress will be hanging on! :) Phew...sorry for the long message!!! I wanted to get everyone caught up on everything! :) |

51 Days left!!!
Hey Girls!!!
It has been almost 2 months since I last wrote on here...and so much has happened. We had our tasting scheduled for last month...I was soooo excited to get to the reception hall and taste all the food...my mom came an hour away and my FH parents came and met us there..we walk into the venue..and the lady looked at me like I was crazy. She had no clue we were scheduled for a tasting!! I was soooo mad! I started crying and just felt so bad for our parents...but the lady was super nice and felt terrible so she ended up giving us 20% off our ENTIRE reception!!! WOWSERS!! That ended up making me feel better! lol. So we rescheduled the tasting and left feeling a little bit better. Anyway...so we had our (second) tasting this past Friday and it was amazing! The food was delicious and the lady was soooo nice! She gave me the final amount and it is way under what i had expected, budget wise!! So exciting!! :) Anyway....my bridal shower is coming up on April 14th. So that will be exciting!! It is a purple and green theme. Nothing too fancy. Simple. Which i like! And my Bachelorette party is April 21st. We are going to Put-In-Bay. My sisters are putting the whole thing together so I don't know anything about it! That makes it more fun!! OHHH YEAAAA.....I had my Boudoir Shoot on friday!!! Ahhhh!!! Totally forgot for a second! It was sooooo nerve-racking...at first! By the end of it, I felt so comfortable and sexy!! It was soo much fun. I wore 6 different "outfits". My FH is a bootie type of guy so we had a lot of rear shots..and I know he will love it. One of my close friends went with me and we took a 6 pack of beer...she drank 4 and i drank 2....just to loosen us up a little bit! lol. I can't wait to see the pictures! I'll post some on here...if they are appropriate! haha. I go view the pictures on April 20th. Lastly...I got our invitations out!! I tried uploading them on here for you to see, but it doesn't let me put a PDF on here..anyone know how I can get it up here? They are perfect! I ordered them from Blush&Ink on etsy. She does amazing work!! Everyone I have talked to love the invites and I love getting the RSVP's back!! Its fun!! :) If I get a break at work today I'll upload some pictures of some things I've ordered from Etsy....all sorts of stuff!! :) Phew...busy busy month ahead of me!!! I hope everyone is doing great with their planning! Its hard to believe that in under 2 months I'll be married and on my HONEYMOON!!! YAYYYYY!!! Have a great day ladies! |

Hey ladies! Hope you all are doing great and i hope the wedding plans are coming along nicely!
I worked on the bride and bridesmaids bouquets last night and I'm so excited to show you guys what they look like! So i decided to make all my own bouquets (never done this before...eeekkk). I ordered a couple sample flowers from aFloral.com and picked out the tulips that I liked and ordered all the flowers for the bouquets. The quote from the local florist for 5 bridesmaid bouquets, 1 bridal bouquet, and 1 throw bouquet (all tulips) was almost $3,000!!! Crazy I know!! So after I ordered the flowers...they were a total of $203!!! Phew...what a great money saver!!! So the pink one is my bouquet (it has little rhinstones in the center of the tulips). There are 12 tulips in my bouquet. I think I'm going to get a crystal bridal wrap for the stems. Haven't found one yet. The white ones are for the bridesmaids. They have 8 tulips in them. What do you think?!?!???? |

DIY Stuff in Progress!
Hey Girls! Hope everyone is doing well. I had a good day yesterday working on bunches of projects for my wedding (which is only 137 days left! ahhh).
So i finished up my flowergirl Tutu!! I'm so excited!! I showed my little flower girl and she LOVES it! Shes going to wear a white leotard with little white shorts underneath and we'll figure out something really simple on the top. I'll add a big ribbon around her wait and maybe a big bow or something. I need to cut the bottom still whenever I get her to try it on again. I recieved my picture frame for my mom! Etsy lady "Photo Frame Originals" did it for me and it turned out amazing! I need to get a good picture of my mom and I to put in it still. I know she will love it! I recieved my hanger from Etsy also! "rockabuycreations" did it for me and she did great! I love the pink hanger!! My dress will look so good hanging on it! I bought a bunch of baskets from the Dollar Store this weekend for $1 each. They had pumpkins on one of the bands so I cut that band out and moved around the other bands...and voila! Looks like new! I"m going to add the white shredded paper stuff to all of them then add my brochure, water bottles, a banana, some candy, and an apple. Pictures when it's all done!! |

5 Months to go!!
Hey ladies! I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas!
Well...yesterday was 5 months to the day! ahh...its coming up!! Today, one year ago, my FH proposed to me! I remember thinking...wow we have such a long time before the wedding..but now...wowsers...its so close! Last night i worked on my Lottery Ticket favors. I added a pink ribbon and label to the transparent envelopes that the lottery tickets will go in. I got 15 done...only 245 left! Lol! I ran out of glue! I also completed my map for our out of town guests. I "googled" DIY Wedding Map template and found a site that showed me how to do it all through Google Maps (Of course I can't find it now to show you guys! lol Sorry!). It was really easy, but I think it turned out really cute. I also completed a couple of STD's for my mom to send out in her Christmas cards. I ordered 50 different STD's from Vistaprint, but I ran out of them so I decided to make some myself using Word. I just printed them off on cardstock and used my X-Acto Knife to cut them, and ta-da...they were done. So easy! We finally have our timeline figured out too!! Finally!! 1:30pm - Music Begins 2:00pm - I walk down the isle 2:45pm - Ceremony over - Guests go to sidewalk for sendoff 3:30pm - Bridal party arrives at reception 3:45pm - Bride and Groom First Dance 4:15pm - MOH and BM give toasts 5:00pm - Dinner starts 11:00pm - Reception Ends What do you girls think about that timeline? It has to start so early because the church has a Saturday evening service, and we have to be out of the church by 3:00pm!! We are getting all of our pictures done before the ceremony (FH and I will have a "First Look" picture). Well...i hope everyone has a great week and a safe but wonderful New Years Eve!! :) |

It's finally booked!!! We are going to...............
JAMAICA!!! Ocean Tower Isle in Ochos Rios, Jamaica! I'm sooooo excited!! We booked it last night. Went through www.applevacations.com and it was really easy to use. The only thing that sucks is we have to be at the airport on Sunday morning (the day after our wedding) at 6:30AM!!!! And the airport is an hour away!!! Phew thats going to be rough! Lol...but we will be so excited to get to Jamaica that it won't even be a problem!!! Hows everyones planning going???? |

Hey girls!!! Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving and holiday weekend!!!
I have two sisters (one older and one younger) and they are my best friends. I am having both of them as my Maids of Honor and they are both super excited about my wedding! What is a good sentimental gift to give to them? What are you ladies getting your sisters or your best friends? I want something that will really mean alot to them. Hmmm...suggestions? On another note....I ordered my handkerchief today for my daddy! I know he will get emotional when he reads what it says. Its really sweet! Picture will be posted when I recieve it. :) |

So much left to do. Some days I am all about working on the wedding...then there are some days that I just don't even want to think about it!!! weird. i guess that will happen in this process.
