This is weddingdreamz's Pink Wedding!

I know the bridemaids are supposed to enhance the brides look, but I also want my bridesmaids to be comfortable and enjoy the dress they have to wear.

So I have my best friend Erin, as my Maid of Honor. My younger sister Ashley and my other young sister Renee, as my bridesmaids.

I know I wanted them all to have to same color but they were able to choose their own styles. We were able to find styles that fit their body types, so they are all excited to wear their dresses.

I think I want them all to have strappy black shoes, and I want their hairstyle to be up, so that it's opposite from mine, which will be down.

Like all brides, we want to look natural and beautiful on our wedding day. I know that I do want to wear a tiara with my veil, so I think I want to have some hair up and then more down, because Eric likes my hair down alot.

I have found many pictures that have inspired me and I am slowly narrowing down exactly what I want for the reception hall.

Tables:
Black table cloths with hot pink napkins and gerber daisy centerpieces.

At the ceremony:
Outdoors, with simple flower aisle decorations.
Maybe some rose petals down the aisle.
A nice arch with hot pink daisies and white roses.

At the reception:
Lots of black and white with pops of pink everywhere.
Lots of toule, maybe balloons and ribbons.

We really want to have a beautiful wedding album of many pictures of our special day. I look forward to meeting with more photographers to see what kind of style I like the best. I really want to have lots of colored pictures, but I also want some pictures in black and white, since I think it's so beautiful and classic.

Like many couples, we don't want an over the top cake that has no flavour. With our caterer, there's a desset buffet included so we don't need to serve the cake at the wedding.
However, I do want a really interesting cake that will make for good pictures!

I have found tons of ideas for invitations and I can't decide on anything yet.
I do like the idea of having simple black invitations with pops of pink.
I also like bright pink invitations!
Still can't decide.
Also - For those who know, is it easier to go through a company that makes the invitations or to get someone you know, perhaps a graphic designer, to help you with the design, and then you buy the proper stationary and print it all off yourself?

I knew I wanted to have hot pink flowers of some sort and I have seen hot pink gerber daisies many times that just look absolutely stunning.
So...
For my bouquet:
-Hot pink gerber daisies with a couple white roses

Bridesmaids bouquets:
-White roses with subtle pops of pink

Groom and Groomsmen Boutineers:
-One hot pink gerber

I would like to have the hot pink gerbers as my centrepieces at the tables as well.

So, even when I wasn't engaged I started looking at beautiful wedding dresses! I have found tons in magazines and tons online. I even went with my Mom, sisters and MOH one day and started trying some on just to get an idea of what styles looked good on me. I have found my dream dress and I hope to go and try it on soon and see what happens!

So, Eric and I have talked quite a few times about marriage and the future. We talked about wedding plans and talked about what we wanted at our wedding. It was especially the topic of discussion after we attended a friends wedding and saw how nicely everything was at their wedding. We began discussing our wedding around that same time. I couldn't stop thinking about weddings and the thought of being Mrs. Eric Lachner. So one day I decided to really surprise Eric. He was out, so I set up a picnic in the living room of our apartment. I had candles, our favorite songs playing, white roses, and a chocolate cake with raspberries on it. On the cake, I wrote in icing... "Will you marry me?". I knew he was going to be home at a specific time so I got it all ready.. When I heard the door unlock and he walked inside, I knew he knew something was going on. He walked into the living room and his mouth dropped. I showed him the cake and didn't have to say anything else. He said he would marry me. Then he asked me right back. After this we discussed what we thought our parents would say, and then we decided to go ring shopping to make it official. After going into the first Jewerly store, I found my perfect ring. We came home and I couldn't stop staring at my ring and then the hard part. I was so nervous to call his parents, I called them and they were estatic. Although, it was a surprising and eventful day.. It was the best day of my life!
