Antique shop find!

I am so excited!! I've had my eye on a cake stand on Ebay for a month.. very pretty, vintage looking.. but the cost was $99. It was missing 2 crystals on top of it.. and I just couldn't spend the money. It went down to $89.. no buyers. $79... no buyers. I emailed the owner and offered $40 because of the missing pieces. She declined.

The next day I'm browsing in my favorite antique shop.. and what do I find? The EXACT same cake stand!! In mint condition!! The price tag?? $22!! I screamed -- literally :-) I then immediately purchased it and here it is. The photos don't do it justice.. but you get the idea.

Wow this is gorgeous! I'm looking for something like this myself. Everything like this is even more expensive in the UK. I should get out and search my local antique shops too. Good tip.
