
I am soooo done right now. Went dress shopping back in
October and ordered all the dresses. I called
yesterday to see what the status was on the dresses and
when they would be in. She tells me, your dress is due to
ship out on 2/19/09 (Which is my birthday!) and I am
thinking oh that's cool.
I ask then what about the other ones? My daughters, etc...
The lady on the phone replies, "What other ones?"
I said the dresses everyone tried on, picked out, had
their measurements taken!!!!!!!!!!!
She states, hold on!
She gets back on the phone and says we won't have
that order and it wasn't placed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Now I am freaking out. I am so pissed at this
bridal store - screw them. Now I have to gather
everyone together to have measurements done again
and the store is not willing to cover the "RUSH" charge on
the new order. I feel like finding a new store and
taking my chances there. What would you do ladies?
I have had a very bad experience with my bridal shop too. What is up with that?
Another thing to consider is most places give you a discount on BM dresses when your dress is purchased in the store. So, it would suck to loose that discount by going to another store. ~That is if this store even offers a discount.
In any case, I would explain to them that if they don't correct their mistake by covering the rush charge, then you will just take the rest of your business else where.
If they do not then I would take your business elsewhere.
Maybe you could get FH to help you fight them. I don't know about you, but he's much more rigid on things like this, and less likely to freak out.
