I finally did a basic inspiration board...lol. We are going for a Winter wonderland theme. Our colors are aqua, rose petal pink and platinum/silver. We want to keep a clean/sleek palette and bring a snowy wintery vibe into the decor. We will be using lots of icy branches as well. It will be a very formal wedding and reception. We will have a traditional wedding at a beautiful church. Our reception will be held at a historic ballroom full of beautiful columns and chandeliers. It will be very elegant and glam!
Church/Ceremony:
We will have tall branches on every pew with some flowers and a pine cone. Luckily the church will already be pretty decked out for Christmas, so we aren't really doing much else. We will have some candelabras at the altar though.
Reception:
We are sticking with white linens covered with white sheer overlays that have silver crystals all over them. We will have silver chivari chairs with white pads. The centerpieces will consist of icy branches and white and soft pink flowers. We will incorporate tons of hanging crystals from the branches as well.
The majority of the Aqua and pink will be brought in through mood lighting...we will have a ton of lighting! There will also be little touches of pink and blue in the decor here and there. There will also be some pink and silver incorporated into our flowers.
Instead of a gift table, we are going to have two huge Christmas trees with mostly white lights and decor. The guests can put our gifts under the trees. We will still have a card box though. It will be pink and blue like the picture.
Attire:
My bridesmaids are wearing exactly what you see on the board. It looks awesome in person, and it is very unique! Everyone in the bridal shop loved it! The consultant has never had anyone pick this color palette before.
