I was able to find a veil that matches my dress perfectly! I'm so excited! Even though it is by a different designer, it looks like it is a set. Now I just need to figure out my shoes, hair, and other accessories. Maybe some day when I have time I will post pictures of everything!

Where has time gone???!!!! I can't believe that it is now under the 200 mark! So much to do and so little time, but I know it will all come together! At least most of the major things are marked off of the list. Now it's just starting all of those DIY projects!

DJ BOOKED!!!!!
Finally, after MANY interviews with DJ's we've finally selected one and put down a deposit. Let me tell you, I'm not sure how this process went for anyone else but DJ's can be a little shady. Not trying to knock anyone out there, and I know there are a lot of honest ones, but I heard everything when we would go to the meetings. I heard that I can meet my actual DJ if I pay an extra $100! That I should go with this company because never before have they spent that much time with a client in 30+ years (it was a meeting, and the DJ was the one dragging it out)! I heard from just about EVERY dj that they only had one opening left for that day (I know it's a popular time of year...but really, what are the chances??!!). I was accused of making up stories, because I was honest. Yes DJ's if you provide references, I am going to call them.... And when they don't have all positive things to say, I'm going to let you know that it is concerning me...and no, I'm not going to rat them out and tell you who it was, because you just finished telling me that you wanted to call them...but I guess that makes me a liar! Anyways, I am VERY excited to finally have this one out of the way! Besides feeling comfortable with this one, and really liking the company, the extra perk is that-because he respected my honesty about my encounters thus far-is allowing me to meet his DJ's at a bridal event and if I decide that I don't like them after that I have no further obligation and will get my full deposit back! And I have it in writing!!! YEAH :)

Day of Coordinator??
Okay, so right now I am feeling completely stressed!! How is everyone handling the daily life balance with planning, jobs, homelife, etc? I don't know if it is because we are wrapping up all of the major bookings, or if this "tense feeling" will be the new constant! Anyways because of this, I am considering a day of coordinator. Has anyone else had one? Or have you considered getting one? If so, was it worth it? I just want to be able to enjoy the day 100% and fear feeling like this then!

Has anyone been a brave soul and opted to diy real flowers? I am considering this, but afraid that I will be completely stressed out right before the wedding as it is and then adding on top of it a bunch of flowers to arrange. Any thoughts, ideas, or experiences? If you have done this, what company did you go through to order your flowers?

Photographer Booked!
So we have officially decided on our photographer and have booked him!! But I was wondering if anyone else one here has any additional tips/ideas that should be reviewed with the photographer before the wedding. To those that are already married, looking back is there anything you wish your photographer did or didn't do? I feel as though the photographer is a huge part of your wedding, since they are there with you every minute throughout that day and they are the ones who will be documenting the moments that will last a lifetime. Any thoughts would be helpful!!

Productive Day!
Completion on the Church front!
Well so far today has been productive in regards to the requirements of the church. I've completely tied up the loose ends with the priest, booked the Pre-Cana, requested the Baptismal Certificates, and set up the first meeting with the priest. Hopefully I can keep this productivity up!

Finally decided!!
Finally, some progress! The wedding party has officially been decided. Now all we have to do is "formally" ask everyone. I'm VERY happy with the selection and believe that it is a group that will truly be there for the both of us!

We have the church booked!
I am so excited about our church! I get to walk down the most amazing aisle!! Although the place is huge, and it will probably look like we have 5 people at the ceremony I can't imagine getting married anywhere else!
