This is the dress that i ordered for my maid of honor. Yeah. One step closer!!!!

So my man is a gamer. If we argue about something it is his game playing. We own about everything except a Wii. If he could get his hands on one he would.

Any ways that brings me to my questions. Does any one plan on having a grooms cake? If so are you doing something that contains his interest?

Is this idea ok or not??

I want to do somethings myself to make the wedding more personal but i don't have a lot of experience and ideas of what i could do myself.

One thing I am for sure doing is the ring pillow. Another is our favors for the reception. But that is all i can really think of at this time.

So Everything went well. The operation lasted about 1/2 hour. When he woke up he was the most unhappy child i had ever seen.

His First word were "I'm mad at you!" (He wasn't talking to us he was talking to the nurse.)
He was in and out all day Friday and that was the worst of it. He has been a much happier child since then.

Thank you to all of those who kept us in your prayers. It helped.

Sorry to those of you who like to stay on the wedding subject but there is one day that i will not be doing any thinking about our wedding.

Our 2 year old is going in for a normal procedure done everyday on kids. (Tubes in the ears) He will also be getting his adenoids taken out at the same time. Not so much fun.

Anyways we went to his pre-op party on Tuesday and this is how adorable he looked. We toured the operating room and visiting room. It was interesting. The whole time my little man kept asking "where my cake at". (I told him it was a party for him so naturally he thought he was getting cake.) He didn't get any cake but he did get juice and cookies.

The tour and information has made me feel a little more at ease. The surgery is 4-11-08. I will keep you posted on how it goes.

I think i want my veil to be custom. I would like to incorporate the pink into the satin ribbon of the veil.

Ok!!! Maybe I am a little partial to my photographer. But she is wonderful i can't help it. I have known her for about 6 years now. I was her first employee.
For a couple of year i went my own way for a while. Now I am back and working for her again.
I think she is an extraordinary person. She owns two business and she is raising a family. WOW!!!
She is also a BDP Freak! BDP is a band that she fell in love with the first time she hear them play at a local bar. She love them so much she even set up a show for them here locally for them to play last year. Not only that one of the band members is getting married this year and he i flying her out to Baton Rouge to photograph his wedding!! Amazing.

Megan and I have only know one another for about 3 years. We met through a mutual friend and our friendship has grown.
She has walked through mud with me this last couple of years and she has been wonderful.
She just recently moved to Texas so it has been hard. I sure do miss her. We keep in touch by facebook since it is so expensive for the both of us to call on another.
She to is getting married next year. June 20th to be exact. Really Exciting. Yeah.

This is my little sister. She is going to be my JR. Bridesmaid. She will be close to 10 when lonnie and i get married.

Amber and I have known each other since 3rd Grade. We fight like sisters and love like sisters. She is one of a kind. Hard to find friend.
She moved to Seattle a couple of years back so this is why it is hard for me to make her the Maid-of-honor. The distance between prevents that. ]

I changed my save the date card with minor adjustments since i had to change my date. I think the font works our better for me.

Tara and I met in School. She was two years below me. I dated her brother for a while and we just because close.
She is going to school for animal biology about an hour away from here so we don't really get to see on another a whole lot. It is hard for us to keep in touch sometimes wither her school hours and my work hours. But we understand. She is one of my most cherished friends. She is wonderful.

Well our wedding was going to be 5-16-09 but my father threw a fit when he found out the date because it was going to be on my little sisters birthday.

I guess the last person i want to upset is my father since he is walking me down the isle and all. Glad i didn't have to much really planned yet. They only thing i have really wasted money on is my save the date card.

Oh Well.

Makes 4 cocktails

* 3 tsp sugar (or simple syrup)
* 12 sprigs fresh mint, plus extra for garnish

Okay. So I like some strange styles. I have really weak ankles since i twisted my right on while flying a kite on our family vacation. GRRR!!! I am so klutzy. I really like the Tennis-shoes looking one because they wouldn't be so harsh on my ankles.

This is extreamly close to what my ring looks like. The settings have heart so the side and inscribed on the inside is past, present, and future. I love it. Once get a nice picture of it on my hand i will up date the picture.

I found these on a site of a baker that would be local to me. This is going to be a dreadful decision. I think because everyone likes to see who unique you can be with you cake. AHHHH!!! help does anyone have any unique suggestions on the cake idea.

Because i am lucky to have knowledge in jewelry making i think i am going to make my own bridal jewelry. This will help in saving some cash for other aspects of the wedding.

Well I guess you can say i'm not really a picky bride. I tried on 3 dresses and found my dream dress. Amazing!!! Now i Just have to wrap up the little details of my appearance. You know shoes, Purse, hair, Vail, ECT.
