love the makeup

Okay so first I feel soo bad using pictures of women I don't know! But that said they are all so pretty, and they look pulled together. My favorite is the blue, but I am unsure if it would look good on me. I tend to play around with that a bit. The lady with green eyes has great makeup on, and her eye color and shape is very similar to my own. What do you think? Is the blue eye make up too much for a tea time wedding?

I love the look of layered pearls and long necklaces. I'm not positive this is the look I will wear as I don't yet have my dress :) But if I had to guess or wish, I would wear long layers (but not too bulky) of pearls, baubles and such with simple but big pearl earrings.

Wedding Flowers

We're painting the roses red :)

So I cannot help but want to do this. I am worried though because we will not be using red through out. The idea of a red rose bouquet with a few white roses mixed in excites me. That said... I like cabbage roses not the standard red roses... so the jury is out still. I do plan on adding the pocket watch as shown in the photo with daisies. Any opinions or thoughts?

Have I mentioned yet that the groom-to-be has only a few stipulations? One being he has always dreamed of being married by a sea captain... Doesn't care if its near water, but would like the captain to be in full uniform and have a pipe of some sort (although would request he didn't actually smoke it during the ceremony) LOL

Wedding Dress

So these are of course just ideas. As of yet I am set on a tea length dress with lace and frills. I would prefer to find a dress with some sleeve or the ability to wear a bolero jacket or some other cover up.

about my wedding:

So we are thinking very small tea party style wedding. I love fairy tale settings, and Alice in wonderland is one of my favorite stories. We are using the story of Alice as a spring board. We are a very eclectic and wacky couple, and our wedding will reflect that :) We are both thrifty and scavengers, so we are making our wedding planning a challenge to think outside the box and use our resources wisely.
