BACHELORETTE!!!
Amazing Night!!
This past weekend was my bachelorette and it was fabulous!!!
My MOH took me to have my hair styled at this cute salon and then we met the rest of the girls at a very up scale hotel. We all went for diner at a very posh restaurant and the final stop was a nightclub in Toronto. The night was amazing, I was definitely spoiled!!! The only crappy part was that my MOH lost her camera at the end of the night and it had all the day & nights events on it :(. |

Buck & Doe
The best night ever!!!
Our Buck & Doe was back in June and it was a Blast!!!
We had the best night, couldn't have asked for a better turn out. We were nervous about having one at all but it all worked out in our favor. We had approximately 350-400 people come out and support us. Gotta love a small town where everyone knows everyone. We had such a fantastic night with our friends & family! We live two hours away from my family so we had 30 people camped out in our house and backyard, we even had a porta-potty, lol! It was a very busy household that day and I personally loved it!! The only crappy part was that my brother who is also a Groomsman is only 18 and wasn't able to attend...so we had a few beers for him!!! We made some good money to boot :) |

Wedding Decoration
Centerpieces!!
These are the centerpieces we have chosen to go with!
Our Parents attended a wedding on new years eve and these were the centerpieces they had. I ran into the bride and told her how much I loved them and she told me I could have all of the vases and battery operated tea lights that she had left over. The best part is that the main component of the centerpieces are branches...meaning their free!! Collecting them will be the guys job ;) Im guesstimating that the total cost of the extra vases I will have to rent and tea lights I may have to purchase should end up being under $100, and that's for 22 tables...WooHoo! I couldn't be happier with my choice, we are planning all of the decor around the beautiful centerpieces! |

Bridesmaids
Chose their dresses!
We finally picked out the girl's dresses, yay!!
It only took one store and a whole lot of dresses to try on but we found it! It will be the exact same clolur as in the picture. They should be here in a few months, I cant wait to see them again! I also threw in a couple pictures of my little sister trying on flower girl dresses, she loved being one of the girls :) |

SHOES!!
Wedding shoes...
I found these pumps way back in may, when I was looking for shoes to go with a dress for a friends wedding. I ended up buying another pair but I couldn't get these shoes out of my head.
I loved them as soon as I saw them but...my finance is only a couple of inches taller than me, so wearing 4 inch pumps on our wedding day just wouldn't feel right. I found the heels online on boxing day for less than half price!! So I HAD to buy them :) I figure I'll take my before ceremony pics with these shoes and wear a shorter heel the rest of the day. |

Wedding Cake
Different from anything I've ever seen...
I went to a local wedding show over the weekend with a couple of my girls and saw this wedding cake. In a pervious post I explained how my fiancé is totally against having a wedding cake because he thinks it's a waste of money and nobody ever eats it.
So when I stumbled upon this unique piece I thought he might just go for it. This cake is a hollow chocolate mould filled with tons of candy!! It's like a candy bar, just done differently. Instead of cutting the cake we will smash it with a hammer! I thought wow this is so different and I'm willing to bet not to many people attending our wedding will have ever seen anything like it. And having to smash it with a hammer is kinda cool seeing as my fiancé is a carpenter, so it's kinda like a little part of him went into it! Needless to say when I told him about it and showed him the picture's he was all for it, yay!! |
