Bridal Session
Here are a few pictures from our bridal session. It's only a few. This is just a sneak preview! ^_^ Thanks to my lovely gals for helping me out. My bridesmaid are truly a blessing. How do you like my bouquet? My brides maid did it for me! :)
       So far, wedding plans have been realllllly slow due to paying bills and etc. I still have to find a hairstylist who can do my hair. I really wish my hair would grow a little faster. I'm taking hair & skin vitamins to help it grow. The pill is so huge, so I didn't take many. I still need to work on my card box. Sighs. I got too much to do with so little time. Ahhhhh! I feel like bridezilla! I just don't know what to put on the box to give it a shine and hold the color. I already painted the mache box. |

Update
Yes, I'm back in business. I've been really busy doing other things beside planning. Shame on me. Here are a few pictures of my fiance & I on Hilton Head beach from this past weekend. The last picture in the thumbnail is my cousin Cam's wedding from earlier this year.
I got so much to do with little time. Now the remaining few months will be a hurdle for me. I have so much on my "to do list". Funds are not looking good right now. We have too many events every weekend that it's making us broke. I still need to buy some organza chair sash. I been having a problem with linentablecloth because they have been out of stock for months. If you ladies know of any other "INEXPENSIVE" aqua/turquoise organza chair sash..please share. I need to purchase 320 sashes. I finally started on my DIY card box project. I used paint to color my paper mache boxes. I don't want it to look cheap, so how do I achieve that glossy look after I use Acrylic paint? Help? |

less than four months...
and here i am...just sitting around. *sigh* why is that when you say "its for my wedding" the price just jacks up? i'm having a little financial problem, so i will be moving a lot slower than i should. i finally got my invitation and reception card. everything looks good except for the reception card. my sample reception card was printed onto a white shimmery paper and glued to the tiffany blue card. for some reason, when i got it...it was all printed on the tiffany blue card. so, i thought it looked kinda homemade...i had to tie a ribbon on it to make it look better. i will post pictures soon. so far, i have 210 invitations and i only finished 50. the ribbons are killing me. it's so expensive at michaels! 10 yd for a white 5/8" is $3.99. i used the 40% coupon, but it's only good for one person on one item a day. so..now i am looking at some ribbons online. if anyone know of any good affordable ribbons online, please share. thanks.

Card Box
I just bought a set of paper mache box. It comes in three 8, 9, and 10". I'm trying to do a DIY envelope box and I need your help, please!
I would like the box to be a tiffany blue color. How do I start? For the outer layer, should I use wrapping paper? Or should I spray paint it? Or should I cover it with a cloth? What glue should I use for this to prevent glue marks leaking through? I want it to look professional as possible...even though it will be a DIY project. I have an idea of how I want to decorate it, but I do not know what is BEST for the outer layer of box. HELP. |

Lazy & Kim's Makeup
I need to lose at least 5lbs to fit into one my dresses. I feel like I'm letting these stubborn fat grow bigger and BIGGER. Ughh. Eating a big meal and then going straight to sleep. So so so bad. I'm not going to lie...I did workout in January for one whole month. Now, I'm just being a sloppy fat pig. I eat whatever and then go straight to sleep. I always tell myself I will workout the next day..and then the next day comes along and I'm like...okay tomorrow I will workout. I'm getting tooooo lazy! Hahaha.
Okay, I have 169 days to turn these fat into muscles. P90X, here I come! Back to my diet... -Veggies -Salads -No red meat -Nuts -Fruits -Milk -Water (which I'm really good at) -and my hardest....to stay away from sweets! omg, i will soooo miss my yogurt pretzels, cookies, candies, and chocolates. ;( How are you ladies motivating yourself to eat properly and working out? For those who do not know, I am a big fan of Kim Kardashian. I LOVE HER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So here is the scoop, I love her makeup. I'm debating on what I should do for myself...and hopefully share some ideas to you ladies for your special day. ;) My favorite makeup on her is the third one (red shirt) and last one (purple bikini). I like the: -Nude lips or light pink lips -Fake lashes or if you have lashes use a good waterproof mascara to bring out your eyes (look at kim's eyes. see how the lashes makes her eyes pop) -Matte foundation with powder finish -Neutral color for eyeshadows (for the innocent & purity look) -Bronzer to contour (optional, but i will need contouring) -Pink or coral or bronzer as your blush      |

Get excited ladies...because I am! I love my sample invitations! I met up with Belinda, who is the designer of my wedding invitation. She is so down to earth and very talented! I cannot stop bragging about her because she is awesome at what she does and she is willing to help! She will work towards your budget and the style that you like. Sooo...I'm still debating between the two. Please help me choose!!!!!!!! So far, I've gotten two votes on the second one (img 4919). I will change out the ribbon to a tiffany blue satin ribbon for the second one. Also, I don't know if you can see the difference in the blue shades, but the first one is a little more green whereas the second one is more blue. I'm thinking of the more green-blue! ;) |

I have not been planning like i should, but i will once my financial status get's better. It sucks to hold back because of money issues. ;(
I have been extremely extremely extremely drained from working five-six days a week. By the time I get home, I just eat dinner, check my email, and surf the net for an hour or two. Then, I head to bed where my thoughts are just rambling through my head. I feel like time is just passing by, but I don't have energy to do wedding plans. Plus, our most expensive things like cake, photographer, and etc...is taking a big chunk out of our pockets. Therefore, all the little things..I gotta wait and wait until the funds come. Isn't that a shame? Enough about that, I will be meeting up with my invitation designer. As I am speaking about her, I need to remember to scan a copy of my invite wording for her. Can you any of you ladies help me? Any website with invitation wordings??? Also, cake tasting will be soon...for us! Brides...I need your help on cake tasting. What kind of cake should I try? What is the most common cake at weddings? Suggestions and advices are most welcome. Thanks a million! ;) |
