It's official one of my bridesmaids got her dress, it's the first one getting her dress, i found this website the price was super affordable. I will only have 3 bridesmaids, my sister (maid of honor), my best friend from elementary and middle school and one of my new recent friend.

I know they will look gorgeous in this, They will choose their own high heels so they will be comfortable all night long.

the main color of the dress will be fuchsia and the belt will be pink. The groomsmen will be wearing light pink tie and the little flower girls will be light pink as well.

i decided to make my own wedding tissue boxes! here is the video that i will show u how to make it in case you are interested.

I made 25 little boxes for the ceremony, in the ceremony there are only 50 people invited.

For me the best wedding favors are the ones that are personalized.

I got engaged with this Verragio engagement ring and also we got the set for my wedding ring, I'm in love with my engagement ring, I wear it every day even if i don't go out. I wanted a princess cut and that's what i got :)

In a magazine that I bought i saw how beautiful Tulum mexico was, you have the same beach as Cancun, for a cheaper price and also the beach is more private, far away from all the young crazy people from cancun. Tulum has villas and cabanas, they don't have hotels in there, is a 100% natural. We rented a villa that has their own bathtub in the middle of the patio. We are so excited to make our first official trip as a married couple. We will be there for 1 week and 1 day. Tulum has a policy of no laptops or tv, we believe it will be the best place to focus on each other.

We got engaged while i was visiting my sister in Chicago, he went for a training there so the timing was perfect.
He called me and said that i should get ready because he was going to take me to a restaurant in downtown. it was super elegant, i though he was going to propose in there but then he payed the bill and i knew that it was just a date but a very elegant one.
After the dinner we went to my sister's house and my sister wasn't there but her husband was. I started to talk to him and all the sudden the door bell rang. My fiance and my brother in law forced me to open the door and it was my mother in law, all the sudden i knew what was going on. Then i saw my parents and i started to cry
He flew my parents from mexico to chicago, and his mother from denver to chicago.
I cried, i was super happy and nervous at the same time. I love my fiance so much

For the reception hall I decided to recreate this picture that i found in a magazine back in 2011.
I didn't want to have white in my reception place so instead of white table covers and chairs i decided to go for the gold.
I will also recreated the huge centerpieces, but instead of all roses i decided to trade the white for carnation and the light pink for roses, in mexico roses are extremely expensive, and carnations are super cheap so i got the look for cheap, I have been saving so much money for this wedding that i'm proud of myself. lol
I also rented a illuminated dance floor because i didn't like the dance floor that came with the rent of the reception place

The day after i got engaged i went to a book store and bought every single wedding magazine, and i saw the pictures that i upload. Since my wedding will be light pink i saw that this was the perfect flowers for it. I love the gold chairs with the gold table covers i think it looks elegant and sophisticated. I was a little scared of choosing the pink color, since in méxico is the number 1 color for quinceañeras lol.
I didn't want my wedding day to look like a quinceañera reception place, i'm glad i found this picture as an inspiration. I think it will look like a wedding

I went to catherine simms bridal in naperville, IL. to try on for the first time wedding dresses. At the end of the day i was in a war between a wedding dress design by Anne Paige and Allure couture.
I was so confuse, After 3 months I came back to the store, tried the same 2 wedding dresses and I knew that the Allure was for me, If i was a wedding dress i will totally be this one, its sexy, elegant, classy and princess looking. All i was looking in a dress. }
I order it in the color white and silver. I can't wait to use it on my wedding day.

I saw this picture on internet and i absolutely love this cake, i feel that is elegant and is just looks yummy, i want to deep my finger in it.
There are going to be 130 guest in my wedding so this 3 floor cake is perfect for all of us.

I knew i didn't want to spend a lot of money on my invitations, after all a lot of people trow them away.
so i decided to buy my own invitations at the Michael's section, It was super easy to do, and very afordable.
I fell in love with this ones, i did it as a DIY project with my sister, we had tons of fun!!
