I made a chain of paper dolls and customized them to look like my girls in the dresses I had originally picked and then sent them with a little note asking them to be my bridesmaid, they loved it! I saw it done online and it was just too sweet, see my blog for the link if you're interested FH just took the guys out to some steak and beer joint and asked them, they were also happy

I wrote each on of my girl's a personalized poem, explaining what each of our relationships meant to me. At the end of all poems I put "And on this day, I will need you now more than ever. Say you'll be my bridesmaid now, and my friend forever." I then took a photo of me and each of them, made it faded back and white and put the poem of them. I then put them into frames that I bought at the dollar store backed with scrapbooking paper. I then wrapped them is pretty white lace and brown paper with white ribbon on them. A total of $10 for 5 frames including everything!! They were so surprised and they are in each one of the livingrooms :)

I made some cards for each of them and personalized them with their names on the front, inside I included a pic of each of my BM's and myself and then a poem asking them to be my BM's. Hope this helps.

i made ring boxes and made rings and put them in with a poem and at the end it said will you be my bridemaid. (like a proposal)
Still have to ask them though.
