This is zades158's Green Wedding!

I desperately want to own a Cutlass Supreme. My dad had one when he was young, and it kind of grew on me. I like the Cutlasses between 1972-1986. The newer ones are just not as good looking.

It would be neat for me and Patrick to drive away from the wedding in one. I'll be driving of course, it'll be my car :)

I'm thinking maybe yellow flowers? I think yellow looks nice with green, so here are some ideas.

I was thinking of either having a beach or outside wedding. If we can't have it on Caribou Island, it'll most likely be on my father's property.

I can't wait to see the look on his face, if he does propose to me, and then I tell him that I already have the wedding pretty much planned.

I guess planning ahead does help ^.^ Haha.

Also, if we can't make a beach or outdoor wedding work for some reason, say weather or whatever, I'll probably just have it in a church somewhere. I am Christian, so that doesn't bother me at all. However, he is not Christian, but I don't think he will care either way where the wedding is.

He'll probably leave most of the planning up to me, anyway. I mean, I'm sure he'll help with paying for stuff, and of course, I'll still ask his opinion, I'm not one of those "nazi brides".

I was thinking, what about a green suit for my (possible) groom? Or should he just go with a black, white, gray or tan suit with a green tie or undershirt?

I'm not sure what would look best on him, I haven't seen him in a suit before ^.^ I'm thinking he would look really nice in a white suit.

Here are a few ideas for a green wedding cake. I was searching through Google images, and these are the ones that caught my eye.

My favorites of these are the first one, the 2nd one and the 6th one. I like the first one and 6th one a lot, but they're all pretty.

I know the style of dress that I want. It's the same kind of style as my prom dress was, in this picture, only white. Standing next to me in the picture is my best friend, Ryan. Our grade 12 prom was almost four years ago, now, so we've known each other for a while.

I want my mom, sister, Ryan, Kati and Lindsey to be with me when I pick out dresses. None of them are really opinionated, and they'll agree with whatever I decide is the one.

I've added some other styles that caught my eye as I was looking through Google images. I haven't gone actually trying on dresses yet, but I might just for the fun of it, if I can get someone to come with me.

Out of these pictures (not counting my prom picture) I think I like either the first or 2nd one best.

As for the budget, well, I'm not willing to go over $1500. Even that's a bit much, but I won't go over that.

I've already got a ring picked out, and I've showed it to Patrick. Whenever I'm in the mall, either with him or by myself, I'll go and make sure it's still there. It looks like the one in this picture, and I chose green/emerald because green is my favorite colour. It's not too expensive, maybe a couple hundred, and I also don't like the rings with the raised stones, because I find them kind of obnoxious and in the way.

As for when I want him to propose, it would be nice to get engaged at 23 and married at 24 or 25. What would be an even bigger surprise would be if he proposed to me at my graduation ceremony.

I had a dream about that once, which is why I came up with the idea. I told him about the dream, so hopefully he took the hint.

Well, I've decided that my maid of honor will be my sister, Brittany. I have a few bridesmaids picked out as well.

I'm not sure about Patrick, but his best man will probably be his brother, Travis.

As you can tell, the last three I am unsure of. Asuka, because she lives in the States and I don't know if she'll be able to make it. Kati, because I haven't asked her yet. Shannon, because I don't know where our friendship is going. Melissa, will probably be one, but I haven't asked her either.

I've already asked Ryan, my best friend, and he's agreed. He told me he would wear a pink dress and tiara just for me. I won't put him through that though, I want everyone to match.

Lindsey agreed too, and my sister, Britt, demanded that she be my maid of honor. Had she not demanded, or if I didn't have a sister, I would have made Ryan my maid of honor.

I was thinking of having light green dresses for my party, because I want the theme colour to be green. Such as the dress in this picture. It is similar to the style of wedding dress that I want, and I would like them to match in style.
