This is zana927's Blue Wedding!

I just did my first DIY item: my monogram. I've never done anything like that before, so it is really simple. I really want to try to do more DIY things, but I don't know how to do much! I am really crafty, but some of the things that I am seeing on this site are amazing!

If any of you ladies have suggestions on things that you have done, I could really use some ideas!!

Ever since I came across the edible arrangements about 5 or so years ago I wanted to incorportate them into my wedding, but I didn't know how. I didn't think that they were classy enough to have on the wedding tables, so I was having a really hard time thinking of something. But ever since my fiance's mom got one, I had to find some way to bring them in.

Thanks to another brides post (and I am sorry I don't remember who!) I was able to figure out what to do! Since the day is going to be so busy and the wedding party won't be focusing on eating before the wedding and will be worried about getting dressed and what not, I am just going to get two large arrangements to put in each of the rooms, so that there is atleast some sort of yummy, but healthy food in there. I thought this idea was so perfect, so I want to thank the bride that i got the idea from!

So, I understand that the theme that I have choosen to do is a somewhat popular theme. But for another bride to come to my page and give a comment about it and saying "pretty, but so so many people are doing the same thing" is rude and uncalled for. I feel that the main reason why most of the brides are on here is to share our own ideas and to get ideas from all the other brides. This site has given me so many more ideas and just because some of us might be using similar ideas, doesn't mean that our weddings are going to be the same. They will all be completely different and very beautiful. Sorry to rant, but that comment just ticked me off!!

I really like this ice sculpture. I think it would go great with the wedding theme. Now I just need to get Tanner to agree to it! The other thing is one of the ideas that I had for guests, but I will probably do m&m's instead of the jelly beans or what ever is in it.

The cake that is pictured is one that I really like the most out of the 3. Tanner wants a tier cake so I might just have that cake as a tier cake. I think it would look nice. I'm not really sure if I'll have it made the exact same way (not sure about the bows) but it's the nicest one that I have found so far. I also the the cake that is pictured in the middle too. I dunno, I think it might be a toss up between the two! And the last one I just think looks cool! :)

But tell me what you girls think between the 2 white cakes, which one do you like better???

I really want to go all out with the Tiffany style, so I have decided that I am going to get each of my girls some Tiffany earrings and a bracelet. But it's not what you think. I need to save some money because the ceremony and reception are starting to really get up there.

Anyway, there is a flea market about an hour from where I live that sells bags (like Prada, Coach, LV, etc.) well they also sell some tiffany jewelery. I bought some from there before about a year ago and they are still in great condition. I got a bracelet and a necklace and I want to say that it cost me about $20 total (we haggled them down ;))
Then I was thinking after I get those, I could buy some Tiffany boxes online. I would obviously tell my girls that the jewelery is most likely not real.

I was also thinking about then getting a small make up bag from this flea market too and putting the jewelery in there along with some essentials that they will need for the day.

My best friend and cousin Michelle is going to be my MOH. She lives in Florida so it's going to be hard for her to do a lot of things, but I understand and it's ok. My two younger sisters, Heather and RaeAnne, along with my other cousin Kimber are going to be my brides maides.

Tanner's brother Wes is going to be hi bestman. Hi friend John from college, his friend Kevin from law school, and his friend Josh (who is also my sister Heather's boyfriend) are going to be his groomsmen.

The men are all going to wear the same thing, but I think I am going to have my girls pick out different but similar dresses because not everyone looks good in the same dress!

So, this is where Tanner and I are getting married. It's an English style castle and it's simply beautiful. We had a tour of the castle last year. The ceremony is in a little court yard that seat up to 250 people. The picture is a little plain, but ours will have lots more flowers and color.

After the ceremony the reception will be in the same area, just across the walk-way in an air conditioned or heated tent. The tent really doesn't seem like a tent. As you can tell from the picture they do a really nice job decorating it.

The guests are able to roam the castle. They will serve hor derves in the castle as well as outside in the tent.

Also, here is the program and menus that we will be ordering from the same webpage. The menu will have the Tiffany Blue color and not the dark blue that is pictured.

I have an idea of the type of dress I want, and right now it's a combiination of the two pictures. I love the bottom to the strapless dress, but I want the top to the other dress. Now the question is how will that type of dress look on me? I really like this type of dress so I am hoping that I will be able to wear something like this.

So i've finally decided on my colors: Tiffany Blue and white, with hints of Pink. The pink will be in the flowers. I think I want to go with the full out Tiffany theme. Fake diamonds and what not. Some of the brides on here have some really amazing ideas and it's been really helpful.

So here are some pictures that have given me a lot of really great ideas. I really like the pink and white bouqet for the Maid of honour and Brides Maids.

My main idea for wedding favors is that I am going to take our main songs, like our wedding songs and songs that we might dedicate to others, and put them on a disk for the guests.

So, this is my first time using this. I am really going to try to get ALL of the information and things that I have up here so that it might help other brides with their wedding ideas.

Now about us. Tanner and I met in high school. I was a freshman and he was a senior. We didn't start dating until July after he graduated. Then he went to college in Wisconsin, while I stayed here in New Hampshire. I think that was the longest 4 years of my life. But, now he's home and we've been together for almost 8 years and they have been the most amazing years of my life. Now he's graduating from law school in May and I am graduating with my undergrad in May also.
